What a great museum with 5 different areas. I plan on going back because it was the best I’ve ever been too.

This is a small collection of authentic buildings and stuff from the late 1880's and feels like a mini western town (ghost Town?) Well worth the entrance fee as finding this many building in one place would be difficult. If you have any love for the old west or historical stuff this is a must do.

Firstly, there is a golf cart that takes you the 100+ yards from the parking lot to the visitor center. Don't miss the view from the bridge that's over the dam. The water color reminds us of what we saw in Alaska. Informative Visitor Center and it's right before the three tunnels going east to Cody. A not to be missed stop.

Well worth the price of admission by itself but the whole experience will create a memory. Husband and grandson are firearm enthusiasts, The collection of firearms spanned from historical to modern, and was absolutely massive. Not only did they have common arms we've all heard of, they had a number of rare finds and odd varieties that I was not even aware of. Each display came with a great description of the history and use of the firearm(s). It's always great when we are able to come away with some extra knowledge. Frankly, there is definitely an abundance of knowledge ( and a bit overwhelming as you don’t know where to go next) to be gained at the Cody Firearms Museum. The firearms (artifacts) are very well displayed and annotated. My daughter and I thought we would be bored, but we enjoyed it as well. My favorite was the old movie and TV show display. If you're a true gun enthusiast, this place will take your breath away!

Beautiful area on your way to or from Yellowstone. Lots of camp and Day Use areas. And horse riding too.

Lots to see and is informative. They rotate exhibit so even if you have been there before, it is different.

An absolute beautiful and awe-inspiring view. Not far from Cody and is definitely a must see! The drive alone is worth it.

At the west end of the lake there is a large RV campground, and on the N side of the lake several boat launching sites, picnic areas, RV campsites, and even tent campsites. Very well maintained; N side campsites are nestled in trees with great views of the reservoir.

Buffalo Bill Lake does get HIGH winds. If you want to play on the water do it in the AM. Seems like most winds start around 1pm in that area.

Charming stay. We enjoyed the peaceful setting for a good nights sleep, good steak dinner and browsing the fun little gift shop. Dog friendly stay with our two dogs. I Recommend the double queen room for extra space and expect to enjoy a media free evening, this is not a chain hotel. Go for the experience, history and wilderness.

Breath taking ride. You would not want to miss this. Gorgeous! Every curve brought a different view prettier than the one before. I recommend taking your time and enjoying the scenery. Stop when you can and get out and see the wide open area.

This is part of the Buffalo Bill museum complex and is not to be missed, assuming you like Western art.
