She grew up in Milwaukee and provided good historical information and comparisons on how the city has changed. We enjoyed the various food stops which were a good representation of the city’s famous dishes. The amount of food served was generous and tasty. - Deborah L1 contributionWe took the Iconic Milwaukee tour and it was fabulous. There were only 3 people on our tour on a small electric vehicle so it was very personalized and easy to hear. Mary Beth, our tour guide, was so energetic and passionate about Milwaukee that it was contagious. We covered a ton of ground, made stops for photos and learned a ton of Milwaukee history on this tour. I highly recommend this tour. is quite confusing. I recommend you follow the emails/texts carefully. Also, my husband and I are retired so that may explain the confusion! Also, be sure to heed the warning to not pay twice for the audio tour. All that said, we loved this tour. The design is quite clever as a GPS is connected to the narrative so you don’t have to pause between buildings. The tour guide is wonderful: pleasant, instructive and entertaining. - Kbram199021 contributionsGreat experience! We had walked around MKE a few days; enjoying the architecture of the older buildings, It was interesting to see them from the water. Abbey was a great guide. Explained the history of the industrial buildings, why some buildings lean, what's expected to happen to some of them in the next few years. If you're more into enjoying the time on the water, she'll explain how they're trying to clean things up. You also get to enjoy some time with nature, paddling and getting up close to the bridges! - Heather FSkokie, IL2 contributionsCelebrated a friend’s bachelorette party on the pedal tavern. What a cool and fun experience! We laughed the entire time, got to play our own music, BYOB and our host Becks was very friendly. The breweries we stopped at all had beautiful outdoor spaces (great for photo ops) and delicious beer. We dressed comfortably to pedal and glad we did because it was a little tough at times.
