Definitely a must do during your stay in Lake Geneva! It was magical - a light drizzle, cool breeze, crystal clear lake water and overcast skies made for perfect views.

The trail has an interesting history - used by multiple Native Americans cultures (including the Potawatomi tribe) and later, the workers who took care of the estates that built up on the Lake after the Chicago fires in 1871.

The 20 feet leading to the shoreline are preserved as public domain and home owners are responsible for their piece of the path.

The total trail is 26 miles, I did 7. Pick an entry point and explore! You really can’t go wrong.

Here’s a few photos from my evening stroll. Sure hope one day to come back and do the whole loop!

Great show. Highly recommended on seeing it. Not a bad seat in the house. The show was well worth the money.

We went on the boat tour that delivers the mail to the residents that live on the lake. It is a 2 and a half hour tour that circles the entire lake. This was the best time and money spent. Captain Ames and the young men that jump off of the moving boat to deliver the mail at each pier is very dramatic and entertaining throughout each delivery. Awesome young men both in their athletic prowess and eloquent speaking skills reinforce what it takes to be leaders.

This historical Queen Ann style Victorian home was built for the Seipp family 120 years ago. It boasts 20 rooms with 13 of them serving as bedrooms. Built in 1887 as a "summer cottage" for Conrad Seipp, a German immigrant, and the largest and most innovative brewer in Chicago. The home is beautifully restored and maintained but the best part is the view of Lake Geneva from the wrap-around front porch where we enjoyed a lovely catered lunch. Tour guide was excellent and full of amusing stories about the home and its inhabitants.

Eileen greeted us and told us a little about the experience we were going to enjoy!! She is very well informed and was a great help. We thoroughly enjoyed all the exhibits especially the MAP room it was very fascinating. We had just been on the Grand Belle Boat for a tour of Geneva Lake and for a Luncheon and Frank 2 Frankie Show everything was great. We enjoyed a cruise last October on the Walworth which is also known as the U. S. Mailboat. In the map room they had on display books you could buy in the gift shop. I LOVED the Discover Lake Geneva Book and purchased it; I have been reading it and can't put it down!!

We stopped in here for the first time and were completely surprised what the building looked like on the inside and the comfortable surroundings to enjoy spirits/wines tasting flights.

The manager was quick to greet us and example the procedure and the bartenders were just as attentive.

Meanwhile the band was setting up for the music to begin at 5 p.m., this was on a Friday evening.

Loved this place and highly recommend a visit to the Geneva Lake Distilling and Studio Winery.

We took the long ride to visit the ice castles. We made an afternoon of it so we first went out to eat and explored downtown a bit before heading over to the ice castles. Our time was 6:30 which was perfect. The ice castles are pretty the kids had fun on the slides. The downfall is that they got busy as it got darker and it was almost too crowed. Lines for pictures, slides etc. we spent an hour in the castle which was enough we explored the whole thing and took our time. Not sure how people could stay hours. We then got hot coco from a truck they had on site with some patio heaters.

Clean restrooms up the stairs and across the lawn. Sandy bottom near the shore. Has 2 piers to swim out and jump off. Did not see any food or drink for sale in immediate area.

Big Foot Beach State Park is the finest option for campers and RV-ers in an area with plenty of great hotels surprisingly few outdoor overnight options.
I enjoyed the hiking trails around my campsite and regretted not being able to explore more due to poor weather during my stay.
While firewood is not always for sale on site, there are plenty of downed branches to be found for a campfire in the forest nearby. My site featured a fire pit and a trusty electric hookup for all my power needs.
The bathroom facilities here have flush toilets and hot water showers (even if it takes a few moments to warm up sometimes). While the restrooms generally gave me nothing to complain about, I have experienced cleaner and generally nicer facilities at various KOA properties during my travels.
Natural attractions here include the aforementioned forest hiking trails (for which you should definitely pack bug spray), a sort of pond traversed by picturesque bridges, a swimming beach, and a raft launch. The actual beach is tiny and unimpressive, but the views are to die for.
I found the noise level at night to be quite low. The one staff member I met here was pleasant and friendly.
Nightly rates for Big Foot Beach are pretty affordable, but an extra fee is incurred for a Wisconsin State Park pass. Overall, I would be thrilled to come back and spend more time here in the future.

We visited this church on Labor Day weekend and it was full! The priest welcomed everyone and we were lucky to see a baptism. Would definitely recommend this parish to travelers looking for a welcoming church to attend Mass!

Thank you to all of the staff that made our stay so enjoyable. We loved the one bedroom suite and the free arcade credits. Waterpark was great. Only wish the outside pool had been open during our stay. We will be back.

Clean, nice management and well appointed for a small downtown theater. No major bells and whistles but a solid venue for watching new releases! If you're looking for big screens and major choices this isn't the place but if you prefer supporting small independent theaters you'll appreciate the Geneva Theater!

If I had the wall, I would love to have one of these paintings. They are all gorgeous! These are not the cheap paintings you find at the local mall or estate sale. You must check out this galleria.

I have visited this gallery a few times and it always has beautiful pieces displayed. There are different pieces each time I visit and it is always worth the trip. I think it's great that there are so many different kinds of art to see and the prices are reasonable. It's really nice that they have activities for kids and that they have artists in the courtyard next door in the summer that display how they create their works of art.
