Grandad Bluff
#1 of 30 things to do in La Crosse
Whether you go before dawn and catch the sun's first rays hitting the bluffs on the Minnesota side of the River or catch the sunset, both are breath taking!
There are bathrooms located at the top along with a shelter and picnic tables, and great hiking trails for those who love the great outdoors!
La Crosse Segway Tours

Had a great afternoon riding on the bike trails, thru UW-L, downtown, the historic area of La Crosse and Riverside Park while learning some interesting facts about La Crosse from Eric, owner/tour guide.
Loved going across the bridge and also getting to experience a Segway both in a park environment and a little bit of the downtown area.
Riverside Park

Located along the mighty Mississippi River and in downtown LaCrosse, this walkway is very peaceful with lots of things to see from different river boat cruises, beautiful birds and flowers.
Best yet, at sunset, get a picnic and a beverage and sit along the Mighty Mississippi and enjoy nature's colorful show, maybe as the La Crosse Queen or a huge barge heads up or down the river.

Challenging enough to make it interesting, but the little hints and clues you can request make it so you can continue the game and have it still be fun if you're stuck.
