The trail is strenuous in sections, but they did a good job of cutting in the switchbacks and making the 1 mile hike doable for most people.
All uphill but switchbacks are helpful and make hike doable for most people in cool weather.

What a nice clean place great restroom, Educational program going on, books, and other educational items in the gift shop, Live demonstration of birdhouses made from gourds.
For sure bring water and snacks for along the way and encourage kids to use the bathroom because it is super steep on both sides of the trail and using nature for the restroom is very tricky (we learned from exper...

Our tour guide Sheila was really lively and had a lot of funny stories about the caverns.
Loved this cavern...Lots of extremely beautiful formations and some that were very rare !

... and the light cords could have been concealed better, but the surface of many of the rocks have a glitter effect that is quite neat, and the chimney effects of some of the formations really gives a unique depth.
She knew all the history and science very well and took good care of us along the way.
