- derrickwg36Seattle, WA3,691 contributionsDeception Pass State Park & Bridge is an amazing place to visit. The view from the bridge is absolutely incredible, and there are numerous trails under the bridge, leading to the beach. This is a great place to visit, you can spending hours here to taking in the scenery and walking the trails. This is a great place to visit solo or with friends and family.Written December 3, 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Parker BTacoma, WA3 contributionsA great place. So much to see. Make sure to go to the actual fort and climb on the guns! A great walk for the whole family as well.Written February 14, 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- David C21 contributionsI have often retreated to Double Bluff, sometimes alone, usually with friends and/or family. It's always a wonderful place, whether you hang out near the parking lot or walk all the way to the point.Written September 4, 2019This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Wynn RMorgan Hill, CA1,894 contributionsThis is a soothing and refreshing place to walk and hike, as long as the weather allows. - travelwhereModesto, CA2,396 contributionsThe water had waves. It seemed cleaner looking with not as much seaweed Ebey’s landing. Had nice picnic areas. The driftwood was pretty.Written August 19, 2020This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- Rainier72Lynnwood, WA742 contributionsDugualla State Park is a small park at the end of Sleeper Road. It is a state park and no Discover Pass signs, so consider it a freebie. There are about 5 miles of trails. We took the North Trail down and took the Beach Trail back. If you're looking for something easier, the Beach Trail in and out would probably the best choice. Both trails were a very nice walk in the woods. The North Trail is more wooded and challenging. The last stretch down to the beach is very tough. After the effort it led to a very small beach. It may have been high tide because there was not a big stretch of land to walk on. It is a nice place to rest before the tough stretch up on the way back. Dugualla may not be as spectacular as nearby Deception Pass, but it does make for a nice escape to the woods.Written August 17, 2020This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - don666Seattle, WA152 contributionsThis is a gem of an officially undeveloped state park. Only development documents can be found on the state park website. Still, there's a small parking area, a portable toilet, and a ranger's house. The trail down from the parking area is a bit snakey; we walked back via the paved service road to save my arthritic knees.
Right now, the park is mostly a beach—but it's a cool beach because unlike the adjoing and well-used county park with a similar name, the state park's beach goes to the point itself, where you can see the Olympic Mountains and some cool sandstone formations.Written October 16, 2020This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC.
