Great family outing that spanned native american culture, fishing and logging industry and americana.
Staff was very helpful and friendly, giving the children a scavenger hunt page to help them interact with the exhibits.

Excellent fish hatchery to visit with kids, they have food you can feed the fish (will need quarters for machines), picnic tables and a wonderful little gift store with coffee and snacks.
Excellent for those with families as there is plenty for the little ones to run around, see and do.

I also enjoyed my delicious latte (with homemade chocolate and vanilla whip cream!!!!) and the kids their milks!! Thank you Oregon for providing such a great place to stop and visit.
In fact, if you end up taking the exit for the Hatchery, plan to stay a few hours and tour the Bonneville Lock & Dam, too as all of these places are on the same loop road and it's a fun outing for the whole family.

Totally recommend!! Very knowledgeable guides will answer questions and explain in detail how it all started up to how the fish stairs work, etc. Adults and kids can ask questions after the tour is done.
