We found great results, but some are outside Ilwaco. Showing results in neighboring cities.

Waikiki beach was busy and kids loved exploring the rocks and driftwood.
If the tide is in, there is a lagoon that forms that is warmer water and makes for great wading and safe swimming for the kids.

The entire Lewis and Clark expedition is explained and includes maps and examples of actual journal entries as well as hands-on fun for kids (and adults).
Many were interactive which are especially attractive to children.

A very interesting exhibit!!! Lots of fun things to buy if you are looking for fun gift to give to your friends and family when you get back home from your trip if you are traveling.
I have been going to this store since I was a little kid, it has a huge variety of things to buy from house decorations to yard decorations, jewelry, beach items, clothing etc.. and of course the famous Jake the A...
World Kite Museum & Hall of Fame Long Beach 2.8 mi away

The small admission is worth it but because of the reading involved little children will most likely just enjoy the gift shop with all the kites.
Great place for both kids and adults.

We enjoyed it as a couple but would be great for families with children.
I don’t think younger children would enjoy this very much as it’s mostly just a history lesson, but it’s pretty interesting for adults.

Great Family fun!
We earned enough to buy us two nice toy animals and a big thing of bubbles for our kid in addition to the snickers and other candy we got for me and my wife.
Back Country Horse Rides Long Beach 2.8 mi away

The wranglers were really nice to the kids and made sure everyone knew the names of their horses before they started out.
One thing I suggest you do is wear sweaters it gets cold by the beach and if we you want a family picture with the horses you have to ask before they rush you off the horses!
Go Karts and Krazy Kars Long Beach 2.7 mi away

New Go Karts, so now you can take a child with you together in one kart.
