We didn’t feel like paying for another tour and this was a great way to walk around and shop! Our kids (11 & 10) enjoyed it. William and Mary University was right there too - with a bookstore.

Lots of stores for all of your shoppings wants and needs. I am a Chico shopper and was a little disappointed in the selection of items. I didn’t stop me from finding a cute top. There are a ton of stores-plan on a few hours to hit all of them. While the website states open at 10 am on Sunday, maybe a handful of stores were actually opened. Go at 11!

45,000 sq feet is big. When you first walk in, they give you a little card which helps keep you oriented. The best thing, is if you like something, things are well marked where you can find it again, unlike some theme park parking lots. It was a tad bit disheartening because of all the lovely pieces behind glass. But after a bit, you turn the corner you find everything else in the open if you are a touchy shopper. There are lots of things you expect to see but lots of things completely out of the ordinary. Remember these are not priced like a yard sale. They are priced for profit. Great place to visit.

I love to venture to farmers markets wherever I can find one. This might just be one of the best ones. It's small and not huge but what it offers is excellent. We bought local produce & meat to cook at our timeshare & some GF treats to have all week. Very pleased. Great atmosphere.

Quilts, colonial clothing and shoes, art work, furniture, dinner ware, silverware, all with plaques telling the history. Very enjoyable.

The store has amazing works of art! The employees are awesome! They are there to answer any questions you might have and know their stuff about the artwork they offer! I'm completely sold on this place! Cannot wait to come again (and sip on Wessex Hundred Cider while shopping for more spiritiles!)

This place has some great shops and is so much more laid back than other outlets I've been to. Great deals on shoes at Reebok. Cool place

Independent bookstore beneath Kilwin's (near Peanut Shop and Parking Garage). Smaller selection of seasonal books than on previous trips. Also sells ephemera (postcards, maps, etc.).

Linda Matney Fine Art Gallery has 6-8 shows a year, they feature works by a lot of promising new artists as well as well-known artists and culture figures. There is a lot of diversity in the art I've seen there and we enjoy the pieces we've bought.

Williamsburg Contemporary Art Center is a lovely art gallery located in the Williamsburg Arts District. The recently renovated Blue Building is bright and cheery and full of artwork by local artists & artisans. The gallery also exhibits an Annual High School Student Show in January and, a William & Mary Art Students show in February, as well as an Annual Members' Show in the summer and an Annual Juried Regional Show in the fall. The gallery also offers art classes to the community. The volunteers are friendly and the art is fun! WCAC is Williamsburg's only non-profit art gallery.

We had passed TK Asian Antiquities many times on the way to/from the Jamestown-Surry Ferry but had never stopped in. This visit, my daughter - who has studied Asian cultures - wanted to check this place out.
TK Asian Antiquities is part gallery, part restoration lab, and part warehouse. Most of the items are of museum quality and are typically sold to wealthy clients worldwide. TK Asian also has offices in New York and China, so it was surprising to us to find this hidden gem on Jamestown Road.
We entered into the office area. My adult daughter expressed her interest in Asian cultures and a good conversation began. Soon we were on a tour - first in the beautiful gallery, then through the restoration lab, and finally in the catacombs of furniture and collectibles in the warehouse.
Simply put, it was a magical afternoon, as it would be for anyone with an interest in Asian antiquities - gold vessels, statues, scrolls, paintings, wearable art, ivory, furniture. The tour and the conversation lasted almost 2 hours.
In the end, we purchased a mid-1800s Japanese porcelain bowl with cranes and pine trees.
In Asian culture, cranes are the symbol of good luck and long life. They certainly epitomized our good fortune in finding this intriguing place and experiencing a magical afternoon there.

We visited while on vacation in June. My boyfriend had been once before and this was my first time. We ordered a sample flight before our tasting and got to try a bunch of yummy experimental batches. My favorite of those experimental ones was Thyme in a Bottle and my boyfriend’s was Cherry Vanilla - we hope they decide to make full batches of them!

The tasting portion of our visit was so cool! I loved tasting the different honeys and the various meads. The lady who helped us with the tasting was knowledgeable and kind! After our tasting, we each ordered a glass of our favorite mead from the tasting. My boyfriend had Tangerine (which tastes like a Blue Moon) and I had Smoke on the Pineapple. We bought a bottle of Black Velvet before we left and will definitely be ordering from them and having it shipped to our state. Would go back and would recommend to family and friends. Thank you!

If you’re interested in delicious Virginia peanuts (boiled and many other varieties) you have to visit this little shop when you’re in Williamsburg. I could not come all the way to Virginia without getting my hands on some boiled peanuts. This is a family business, 35 years old, and still in the family - the college-age son is about to take over. All flavors & types of nuts available to eat here & take home.

We had heard about this shop from our neighbors. However, having tried good Virginia peanuts from many sources, we didn't think that this would be any different. We were certainly wrong - these are the best peanuts I have ever had. We just got some of the "lightly salted" (no flavorings), and they were stupendous. I am thrilled that they sell on Amazon, and that we don't have to be physically present in Williamsburg to give them our business. I would encourage everyone to buy them online. There was one brand of Virginia peanuts that I picked up in Whole Foods literally today - and it tastes like plastic compared to these nuts! We intend to stay loyal to these peanuts, and I cannot wait to try the flavored ones. P.S. I think they are the same prices as Planter's peanuts, so the price is certainly right........
