Visited on a very hot day at the end of July. I am neither botanist nor horticulturalist so didn't appreciate much the wide range of plants to see, but it was all quite pretty. The views on the coast itself were very fine. If I had a gripe, it would be the cost of the refreshments at the cafe - more than 7 euros for a granita and an ice-cream, but it's a captive market I guess.

It’s a small castle but with a really nice view from the top. I went there with 2 years old baby and a newborn (4 months).
There is a small parking for maybe around 10 cars really close to the castle. To get to the top is just a few stairs so if you go with a stroller you will need to park it before climbing the stairs so I would not recommend it. It’s not a big place so the earlier you go the better if you want to take good pictures avoiding the crowds.

Stayed on a campsite quite close to the beach, just had to walk through the gate to be on it. Nice clean beach, quiet when we where there, it slopes in to the sea and when the sea is rough it can be a bit difficult getting back out of the water.

We visited this beach on a warm sunny day in mid November so it's hardly surprising that the beach was almost empty. There were even a few people having a swim ( too cold for us ).
This beach is easily accesible both by car and on foot.

came across this chiurch when walking round Banes. Really lovely inside, murals on the walla. I was there when a service started so was nice to hear and see. then went back later to walk around myself.

The ride up was the best part for us. We have been to a number of Botanical Gardens over the years, but this one was not one of the best. We speak enough Spanish to be polite, but found that this pleasantness was not reciprocal upon entry. The woman with the parrot looked appalled when we opted not to have a photo and then sharply informed us that the next bus back to Blanes was not for 3 hours (our fault for going during Siesta time). This meant we had to make the experience last a while. We walked at a snail pace and still saw everything in 30 mins (not very exciting and the views weren’t too spectacular). This meant we had to hike back down to Blanes as there were no cafes in the gardens or nearby to wait for the bus. Quite disappointed all in all

Excellent clean and tidy beach. Sunbeds and parasols for hire. Can get quite busy at peak times, and has plenty of cafes and restaurants along the promenade.

Climb up the cliffside roads and get a great view of the harbour and the beaches. It's just a typical harbour, but there were plenty of boats coming and going which made it interesting

There are several branches of the Tourist Office in town - ours was closest to the campground where we were staying - la Masia. Many brochures are available - one in particular was especially helpful - with proposed walks around town and in the surrounding area – from 1 km to 3.5 km. Well researched and designed, and we used it to explore the area on foot.

Well loved little church with an interesting history. We stumbled upon this well maintained building which was open for visitors to enter free of charge. The place was unattended but it was nice to see that that trust had not been taken advantage of.
    Well worth a look.
