- Paul TamesHorley, UK83 contributionsFantastic walk along the coast , lots of lovely chiringuitos along the way. Well worth a walk and great views. Cyclists sometget trim the way!Written August 28, 2021This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
- albeback1Eccles, UK5,051 contributionsPlaza de Toros is a small square in Mijas with shops and restaurants waiting to serve. Nice fountain in the centre. Adds to the beauty of Mijas. FabulousWritten November 4, 2019This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
- 400mandaLondon, UK203 contributionsGood Sandy Beach - Restaurants /Bars/Toilets are a plenty along the way. Sunbeds for hire with parasols if needed. (Usually attached to restaurants) Clean. Suitable for all. Shops nearby also. Parking can be a problem though in the immediate vicinity. We visited in low season and parking was difficult, so parking in high season must be near on impossible. There are other beaches up the coast that are more vehicle accessible in my opinion.Written November 6, 2021This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
- Don WAltamont, IL91 contributionsThe streets are narrow cobblestone and shops everywhere to buy from. Beautiful places to see and visit. Food is tremdous and tasty.Written May 17, 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
- StephenCrossDublin, Ireland16,899 contributionsEasy enough to find this and it’s under a cliff that has other historic items. Small entry fee and everything is miniature.Written January 10, 2021This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
- NelsonMXFuengirola, Spain96 contributionsThis is a great hike but be forewarned, it is a fairly rough trail. I hiked from Mijas Ermita del Calvario using the red trail Cruz de la Mision then to the orange trail Rita Pico Mijas. It is a long slog 8 hours return and as I said the trail can be quite rough, that is, lots of rocks. But having said that the views are worth it!! The trails are well marked for the most part. Make sure you pick up a trail map mappa de sanderos in the Mijas Tourism Office. They are very helpful and knowledgeable!!!Written March 11, 2020This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
- Zoe M7 contributionsWe visited 21/4, sunny day. Sunbeds €4.80 each, we didn't use. Plenty of grass space with lots of fixed umbrella's to provide shade.
Mind the ants, not too many but be careful if you have food/drinks.
Hut selling wafffles and donuts / crepes.
Hut selling crisps, beers and soft drinks and slushes. Canteen with hot foods.
Clean environment, lots of waste bins around. Staff friendly and helpful.
Park was very quiet, no queues so kids got to go on what they wanted.
Unfortunately the water was icey cold and no one was in it for more than a minute.
Wave pool had no one in so they switched it off.
Don't be fooled by the jacuzzi, it's also freezing lol.
Overall a nice visit.
We went after 2.30pm until close at 5.30pm. Rides stopped at 5pm.
You get 30% discount for this session so much better than full price as too cold to spend a full day.Written April 22, 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC. - JnVSydneyGreater Sydney, Australia13,296 contributionsLocated above Fuengirola, is this lovely white village that has everything the visitor couldn't possibly want lovely cobble stone streets amongst white buildings, amazing views, horse and donkey carriage rides, just to name a few, definitely a must.Written May 16, 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
- Erkki42Helsinki, Finland33 contributionsA nice place to have a walk on the wooden path along the long beach. In January you could not swim. A couple of beach restaurants were open, many of them were closed.Written February 9, 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
- NikoliGogolEdmonton, Canada1,791 contributionsThis chapel gets crowded. It dates back to the 16th century after an apparition by Mary. The exterior resembles a cave while the interior is very well decorated.Written February 16, 2020This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
- AubrayBali, Indonesia289 contributionsThis is always my go to spot for good wine. They have so many selections from 1euro for a glass to 50euro bottles. It is a great place to have a business meeting, dinner with friends, or to take someone on a date.Written November 17, 2019This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
- Turista-InglesaEstepona, Spain29,048 contributionsI'm a keen museum visitor, so have lots to compare, and this is one of the very best in the Costa del Sol area!
It is full of objects from times gone by, before tourism and modern life overtook the little village of Mijas, and I found it absolutely fascinating.
Do visit it, I can't wait to go back!Written June 22, 2020This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC. - Gilly WSpain87 contributionsVisit here regularly for a coffee or lunch. Lovely location, so relaxing with the sound of the sea a few feet away. - JnVSydneyGreater Sydney, Australia13,296 contributionsOnce off the bus the visitor is greeted by a large square, however, one has to venture up the stairs to get to the heart of the village, where this lovely small square is to be found, from here there are many view points to seek out, as well as seeing the smallest bull ring in spain. there are also many eateries and shops to tempt the weary visitor.Written May 16, 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
