Lovely town but very truistic, shops and more shops! The town is very clean and very well kept. Unfortunately, it was raining and we didn't spend enough time walking around.

We had a wonderful time here. We booked the walk with the donkeys approx 2 1/2 hours for the whole visit. Includes a talk with one of the volunteers, a tour of the centre and then a lovely walk through the woods with the donkeys. Highly recommended, we took our teenage daughter too- we all loved it. They have a little shop too, for raising money to help the centre. If you're doing the walk you definitely need sturdy shoes.

Small exhibition in a railway carriage containing amazing assortment of miniature artworks from tiny canvases to paintings on a grain of rice and carvings on a toothpick. Well set out with magnifiers to view each exhibit. Only 3 euros ( 2 for senior citizens) to enter, well worth it. Something a little different.

Got the bus from Fuengirola bus station. M122 takes about 1/2 hr costs 1.55 euros each. Nice selection of Bars and Restaurants including The LemonTree from TV show, was nice to see them in the flesh! Lovely shops bars restaurants. We watched the free Flamenco show. We went Saturday it's about 1 hour long by bandstand as you go into Mijas. Starts at 12pm. Fabulous, lots of costume changing, drama and foot tapping. Some kids that had flamenco dress/outfits on were taken onto stage which was lovely. There is a lovely square by the Bullring. A beautiful place I actually didnt want to leave. The town, the streets, the people so lovely. You can get a bus from there to Coin M221 if you want to visit there or can go direct from Fuengirola on the M221 to Alhaurin el Grande or Coin. Nice bus ride on a steep incline with great views!!

Beautiful place - Bullring is superb - dead cheap to get in €3 and gives you a real sense of what the events were like . Fabulous setting and stunning views of the coast and the mountains. Parking in the multi story dead easy and dirt cheap !

The best part about these walks is that it is all signposted & markers along the path, you can get lost & you don’t need to carry a map.
First we walked the yellow path which was a loop and although a shorter of the routes, I’d say the steepest. The first 2k were almost on our knees!!
The next trail was the orange, which was an up & down to the summit. It wasn’t as steep until nearer the top and worth it for the views.
We did both trails in Aug but started just before sunrise so we were back before the heat started to be an issue and we could easily park the car near the trail entrance.
It is rocky under foot and proper footwear is needed, trail shoes or hiking boots ideally although my teenage son managed in normal running trainers. We took lots of water, about 2L each and snacks plus I found my hiking pole very useful.

An absolutely beautiful park walk with stunning views of the Costa del Sol and Fuengirola in particular. The park has been laid out beautifully with magnificent flowers and plants everywhere

A nice place to have a walk on the wooden path along the long beach. In January you could not swim. A couple of beach restaurants were open, many of them were closed.

Great experience, we just found this place by chance walking past, only €1 per person. Unfortunately I didn't take any pictures but it's definitely worth a visit.

Its €3 to enter the Art Gallery, which is an amazing bargain. There are only a handful of artworks to see and it is set across two fairly small rooms and the works are only from two artists HOWEVER, these artists are Picasso and Dali.

Its a fantastic place to visit.
