Many places to eat down there, I have had a couple of very nice meals. If the tide is out you can walk up to a couple of the casemates.
The other unique thing, they are still here 75 years later, and at low tide you can walk up and touch history, I did.

It is a well-tended, peaceful place with beautiful headstones which underscore to visitors the young ages of these soldiers, their rank, etc. and inspires visitors with the heroism of those buried here.
This is the first time I have visited while in Normandy a very well kept place of remembrance, very peaceful and made you realise the sacrifice made by so many so we can enjoy freedom today

It was very emotional to walk among the 2,000 plus graves of our young Canadian soldiers who gave their lives in order to preserve our freedoms.
