    Waterfall
    Nice waterfall located in center of city. Waterfall is surrounded by buildings thus the view is not clear but it's still worth to visit.

    Worth the trip up to the top of the mountain even if you’re not skiing to get the views from the bridge. Free digital photo with your lift or ski pass

    Beautiful
    Beautiful and easy to walk, I would definetely recommend this walk when you're in the area. Nice to walk somewhere rather flat as well as things are quite hilly in the area.

    Nice ski resort
    Bad Gastein is a nice place for skiing. There is only one way down back to Bad Gastein but the Stubnerkogelbahn will connect with other lifts to Angertal and Bad Hofgastein. There are some excellent slopes. Even one of the longest in this area. The views are absolutely breathtaking.

    Easy scenic stroll to historic gold mining town
    This paved path starts at the parking lot at the foot of the cable car to Stubnerkogel and follows the river to Böckstein. For variety one can return to Bad Gastein on the other side of the river on an equally scenic bike path.

    Scenic road to a very special place.
    We travelled the Alpenstraße by bus and it was an amazing experience. The views are amazing especially when you get to sport Gastein.

    Fantastic lessons with a great insteuctor
    We had a great time learning to ski with Sille this week. We visited the office to book our first lessons, arranged where to meet, then booked further lessons online. We had 3 private lessons at angertal which was prefect to start off with and were soon confidently enjoying the beginners slopes.

    We had a great time and learned a lot!

    Adorable church
    the view of the church was great from the mountains and we took a lot of time taking pictures of it..Worth a try because the building is well preserved and well constructed.

    Excellent, breathtakingly beautiful!
    Excellent! Simply stunning, the ascent is just slightly more challenging than "moderate", but still manageable, and not hard-core. View is breath-taking.

    History of Bad Gastein
    It has an interesting exhibition about Bad Gasteins history. They offer a guided city walk. Check for opening hours and times for the walking tour. Pretty informative but only in german

    Lovely ski area
    Lovely ski area even though there are only two lifts here, a gondola lift and a tow lift.
    One negative thing about the area is that there is no cozy "ski hut" here. The only ones are the ones at the gondola lift.

    Breathtaking hike
    Walking up from the Badbruck cemetery it is quite a climb but breathtaking as you follow the Gasteiner Ache river dropping down in severeral cascades. You must be steady on your feet and moderately fit, even small children can negotiate it, but strollers would be not able to as there are a lot of stairs. In wet weather it gets slippery and in winter the path is closed. You end up at the center of town, which has seen better days.
