With a backdrop of Port Douglas, the Marina (with the luxury super-yachts) the grassy banks, the ocean..and of course, the misty mountains behind you - pure peaceful magic.
With stunning views of the ocean, surrounded by palm trees and many tropical plants it is a must to visit on your trip to Port Douglas

It’s an amazing view, looking down to the white sandy beach of Four Mile Beach which is framed by a zillion palm trees, the crystal blue ocean and the majestic mountains in the background.
The lookout allows you to view a wonderful cross-section of scenery that sums up what Tropical North Queensland's environment is all about, with the rainforest-draped landscape contrasting with the beach and ocean...

There’s a great view of the coastline, stretching south from the foothills; Black Rock, Cape Kimberley, Shipwreck Bay, Snapper Island, Daintree River, the rainforest and Port Douglas on the horizon.
It was a quick stop, but I think gives perspective on the proximity of the rainforest to the sea/Great Barrier Reef both of which are World Heritage sights and worth a visit to both whist here.
