- Betzy HLutherville Timonium, MD10 contributionsThe art is entertaining and quote funny (per my 15yo son). Not crowded so could see everything. Only $5 including a free book! Not recommended for little kids based on mature subject matter.Written December 30, 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Regina DAudubon, NJ11 contributionsGreat quiet spot for a late afternoon walk in the fall. We only saw 2 other people. - XSki007New Jersey1,256 contributionsWe met the owner-artist and thoroughly enjoyed everything in the shop! We were able to chat with him and watch him with his latest work of art.
The shop is a must visit and make a purchase for anyone living in the area. His works of art would go well with the environs.Written July 3, 2021This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. A very talented artist, Ann has displayed both thought provoking and serene artworks in the same space. Everyone should stop in and talk to Ann about the stories behind her works!Written March 4, 2014This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - XSki007New Jersey1,256 contributionsI was fortunate enough to recently visit and make use of the facilities of the club as a guest of a member family.
Honestly, it is an amazing place. Great members and a very courteous and helpful staff. The outdoor accommodations couldn’t have been better - plenty of warmth, good food and drink and very safe places to eat around the bottom of the lift.
We didn’t ski, however the kids did with their friends and parents. Super family venue. I can’t wait to see what the other seasons have to offer!Written March 11, 2021This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Since it was early season there were very few people on the lake or at the lakefront houses so other than the slight wind it was quiet, private, and easy. This is a smaller lake without water skiing but there could be a few fishing boats to aware of. It's deep enough where there's little to know worry of hitting anything and the launch is wicked easy to access and use. It was a first time for us but we'll absolutely go back to kayak more.Written May 29, 2021This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - ossmhLincoln, UK51 contributionsThe French menu made a welcome change from the ubiquitous Italian, burger or steak house establishments. We thoroughly enjoyed our main meal. The lamb rump cassoulet was succulent with a delicious and unexpected flame grilled flavour. With generous pieces of perfectly cookes sea bass and salmon with mussels and prawns in a delicate but tasty tomato sauce the bouillabaisse was fabulous. We made the right choice to save room for dessert and we're not disappointed. The rich warm chocolate fondant was speckled with sharp fruity raspberry crumbs which complimented it perfectly. The apple tart was light, crispy with juicy and not too sweet but slightly sticky apples, accompanied by gorgeous tart tatin ice cream. The staff were friendly and professional, the restaurant welcoming and relaxed with interesting but unobtrusive decor. We'd definitely recommend Cafe a Rouge and will definitely go again.Written June 11, 2017This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC.
