I cannot find the right words to describe the beauty of Smugglers Notch... Breathtaking nature... Green mountains, tranquil lakes, sparkling waterfalls, mighty Mount Mansfield - everything was stunning on a sunny...
The park serves as a trailhead for several hiking trails that stretch into Mount Mansfield State Forest, including the Sterling Pond trail that rises 900 feet to Sterling Pond, which is open fishing and swimming.
