- Andrea MDuxbury, VT55 contributionsWhat a little gem this place is!! This was our first concert in almost 3 yrs thanks to Covid and we are so glad we took the chance! I saw the Ten Tenors were playing and we decided to give it a go! First off, they do not use Ticketmaster which to me was a huge plus! Tickets were affordable and easy to buy directly. We had great seats but the theater is small enough to make any seat personal. The staff at the theater were super friendly and helpful, they must love their jobs. The theater itself is beautifully ornate. Beer and wine available.Written April 4, 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Passenger707815Rutland, VT28 contributionsNot a long hike; not a flat hike; great views; near Killington and Pico; neat restaurant at the base. Be aware of parking across Route 4 and crossing the road.Written March 31, 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - angeleyes27Brigantine, NJ4,970 contributionsThe corn maze here is HUGE! Be sure to follow the right hand or left hand rule so you don’t get lost. They do have exits in the first half. You can also take a hayride included in the price. The games for children are cute. The store sells maple syrup. I thought the price was reasonableWritten October 1, 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.

- Daniel L2 contributionsWhen I arrived at Pico, my 13 great old son and I were so excited to get on the mountain, unfortunately we had a major mishap in the parking lot; while putting on our boots and getting ready to head to the lift, I closed the hatchback on our car and the glass shattered. Needless to say this put potentially a major damper on what should've been a great day.
Although there is not a no single autoglass place opened in Rutland on a Sunday even in an emergency (it was snowing), the staff at Pico were generous with their time, sympathetic to our situation. Special shout out to Bobby, who was hands on and assisted in providing garbage bags, tape, cardboard and more than a little elbow grease covering up the damaged window and preventing worse damage from the snow. Additionally, thank you Heather for assisting and the ticket window and saving our very nearly spoiled day.
In light of everything, Pico was a wonderful place to ski and with the limited time we had, we truly did enjoy our time and it did help us get our minds off the car.

- JulesHPHighland Park, NJ119 contributionsAll the murals are within a walking distance of each other. However, some might not be as easy to find as others.
When I was looking for the murals, I was telling myself to I should have written down the address so it'd be easier for others, but I was in a rush and didn't get a chance too.Written September 10, 2018This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Passenger707815Rutland, VT28 contributionsThis is a covered bridge that was moved to dry land after a flood in 1947 destroyed its twin. - Jon F6 contributionsBecause Trip Advisor does not have the outdoor climbing side of this company Vermont Adventure Tours, I will list this review under the parent company. Same owner and General Manager just outside climbing led by the General Manager.
What a great experience. Had a great day with my wife, daughter and her boyfriend. None of us are climbers. I am familiar with ropes from the fire service which are primarily repelling for rescues. The equipment was top notch. We met Matt at the shop and were fitted with shoes and harnesses. We quickly left for a full day of climbing. Matt asked us to explain our abilities and what we wanted to get out of the day. He used this information to set up 2 ropes with several routes and levels of difficulty by just shifting the rope. Matt used a combination of verbal clues and direction to help us start our experience. He blended in positive reinforcement with a calm demeanor mixed with times of silence where he allowed the climber to figure out the next move. He explained this is a personal journey and making it past your comfort level is more important than making the top. Easy to say but hard to do when I was trying to show up my daughters boyfriend. Matt went out of his way to see we each succeeded at whatever level we wanted knowing all 4 of us had different reasons for climbing. One of us even had a brief uncontrolled anxiety attack while climbing. Matt worked with them to work it through to get off the wall, and talked to them privately about what happened and even got them back on another climb later in the day.
Our experience moved smoothly from beginner 5.4 climb to 5.5, 5.6 and finally 5.7 level climb. I never felt like Matt was drawing things out or impeding our climbs. He worked through our rotations with very little downtime. We scheduled a full day 9 to 5 and used every minute. We were on rope by 1030, 20 minute lunch and asked Matt to pack up at 430. When we got tired late in the day, Matt just shortened the climb so we could get more in with less effort and work on form and different holds at lower heights where he could let us experiment and really see what we were doing.
If you are looking for some personal satisfaction, confidence building and learning how to manage your fears in a productive and physical way, go rock climbing with this service. I have and still compete in physical competitions (Firefighter Combat Challenge) for self satisfaction of accomplishment and none of them have given me the overall feeling of adrenalin and personal accomplishment like this adventure. This being said from someone who was bested on the 5.7 climb by his daughters boyfriend after I failed 2 attempts.

We started with Ahi Tuna salad which was delicious and enough to share for our party of 4. Then, 2 of us had an enormous Fried Chicken thigh sandwich served with fries. They liked it and said it had some spice. My grandson chose the hangar steak with rice and asparagus of which he ate everything last bit. I had the Turkey Club with sweet potato fries all which was perfect. It’s a casual atmosphere and a favorite of the locals.Written May 23, 2021This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC.
