Good trip. We arrived at approximately 5:30 pm and made our way to the entrance of the trail. The trail was very easy and only consisted of a several minute hike before we reached the waterfall. The waterfall was small, however the environment was very relaxing and peaceful.

Tip: I recommend spending 15 minutes here if you truly want to see everything.

Spent three nights here feb 2021.
Room is well appointed. Has full kitchen. Very clean kitchen ware. Clean shower and bathroom. Comfortable beds. Fire place.
    Very convenient to skiing.
Every one is super nice and friendly.
Went into Ludlow for steak dinner. At Sam’s.
Amazing steak. No covid restrictions. Full capacity.
    Pizza take out also.

Only problem with Ski were very long lines.

This park is a true gem! Wow!!! The grounds are gorgeous. Lots of canoes, kayaks, and boats to rent. Volleyball net, picnic tables, and a lovely swim area. So peaceful. We will be back!

We had a good time at the Jackson Gore area of Okemo. The ski in ski out was so nice, the lifts are right outside the door. The staff is very helpful. We will def go back.

I live ¼ mile from the trail head. I would not say the hike is "easy" at most any age unless you are conditioned and used to hiking a mostly steady climb. As of June, 2022, the trail has lots of exposed roots with trip hazards. Much of the climb will be over rocky terrain as other reviewers note, mostly stable with some exceptions. Yes, a hiking stick/trekking pole is recommended especially on the way down. Leaves in some areas make the ground underneath slippery and unpredictable after a rain. There are no views until you're close to the top of the trail. Cell signal is generally available towards the upper elevations, not anywhere near the base. Parking is accessed via Station Rd. off Rt 103, the opposite end no longer reaches Healdville Rd. as the bridge over Branch Brook was deemed unsafe and is blocked to vehicle traffic. It's a good workout!

My family and I adore this museum. You can see and touch most of the antiques and displays, which are beautiful and well organized. You feel transported back to a simpler place and time. We love how this museum is run by locals who truly make you feel like you're part of their family! After spending an hour or two here, you feel that Ludlow is your hometown too. God bless the Black River Academy Museum and the people of Ludlow Vermont!

Enjoyed the quality and diversity of trail riding. Great with the expansion of the new top to bottom trails. Premium "Scott" bikes for rent ensure you have the right equipment for the mountain.

We stopped by while on the way out of Okemo ski area. We found the store to be well stocked with various sweets, Maple products and Vermont souvenirs. The staff was friendly and we had an overall pleasant shopping experience.

Given that it is named Sugarhouse we were hoping that there would be an opportunity to visit the production house. We were told that the season is over, so obviously that was not an option. Yet, it would have been nice if they could at least put some pictures throughout the store, filmed and played a short video, or included some ways for somebody to understand the maple syrup making process. Otherwise, this was just a store.

This is a great locally-owned wine and cheese shop that is a must-visit if you are in the Ludlow/Okemo area. Leslie is incredibly helpful (and kind!), recommended a great variety of Vermont and French cheeses and loaded us up with perfectly paired wine. Our husbands went back a couple days later and she remembered us, our wine preferences, and sent the boys back with another great selection of wine for a formal home-cooked dinner.

During the holidays, Main and Mountain's bar turns into a holiday wonderland. They go all-out with decorations, they play Christmas movies on the TV's and serve a special holiday cocktail menu - tons of the cocktails come in festive tiki mugs. It's really fun, highly recommend!

This was close to, if not THE best massage I have ever had! My massage therapist was Tad. I have a bad neck and back from accidents years ago and they cause knots which he went to work on and reduced in size tremendously. I also have arthritis in my right hip which is just annoyingly painful all of the time and I dont even know what he did but it has not bothered me since. I can honestly say I have never felt more cared for in a massage environment. He did all of this in 50 minutes and was very calm and not agressive at all. I highly recommend Calm if you are in the Ludlow area for vacation! I know I will be back!

Love this pizza! If you like brick oven style pizza this is the right place for you! The only thing that we were disappointed at was there was a sign that said delivery yet when we called to get the service they'd aid they weren't doing it. It a nightclub feel inside. We visited in the summer so we didn't see it at full swing, but it looks like a fun place. Arcade upstairs for the kids!!

Beautiful gallery with all kinds of hand picked objects. You will sure find what you need. From a souvenir from Vermont, to any special gifts or special item for your home. The owners are super nice and will help you find what you need.

This place is fantastic. I stumbled upon this little Gem in Ludlow while working in the area for the year of 2017. Tish and all the other folks that teach there are great positive folks that truly love what they do. I spent the entire year with a monthly membership and got so many positive benefits. I left the studio feeling uplifted and ready for life. Really miss living in the area just for my time spent there. Keep up the good work over there.

This is local shopping and great for gift shopping. The Vermont country store is fun, but very commercial. Here you can find things that are hard to find elsewhere.
