Hubby and I drove into Provo Canyon and didn't have any difficulty finding these falls. They're right off the road and up high, 2 levels at least. We pulled off and parked and found the trail up higher than where most folks especially with little kids were (at the bottom). The hike is easy and short but when you get to the top of the first falls, you need to be able to scramble a bit to get up onto the rocks for closeness and pictures, if you want. We did not go higher than this. There's so much more to see and do in this canyon but this was worthwhile stopping and hiking up a bit.

The Provo Farmers Market is the highlight of every Saturday! There are SO many unique artists; fresh, local produce; and unique dishes! Out of all the farmers markets I have ever been to, the Provo Farmers Market is my favorite!

My wife and I enjoyed the scenery as we drove through Provo Canyon. The highlight was the easy hike to
The Bridal Veil Falls viewpoint. We did not go further up the trail.

The third free museum on campus and worth the stop! They display well and we enjoyed the masters. There is a cafe that closes at 2 as well as a gift shop.

We visited here recently as part of our ten days exploring Utah (we live in southeastern PA), spending about 90 minutes total exploring the exhibits. This museum was easy to visit, with free admission and visitor parking just outside the museum entrance (just resister your car at the front desk).

We love natural history, wildlife, zoos, etc., and enjoyed virtually all the exhibits here. Upstairs were good dioramas depicting “Life on Top: Apex Predators.” Downstairs were many display cases featuring all five classes of animals found in Utah, i.e., mammals, reptiles, amphibians, birds, and fishes. “Into Africa” showed the connected relationships—whether friendly or not—between various animals on the savannahs. The dioramas were well done, and the taxidermy throughout was top quality.

My favorite galleries were the bird displays, i.e., “Pheasants of the World” and their comprehensive “Waterfowl of the World” displays, containing “150 of the 162 known species of ducks, geese, & swans.” (Now I am curious about the remaining 12 species! :)

We were surprised to see the exhibits on the main floor promoting “evolution” to explain the origins of life. Not only is this teaching unscientific (despite the signage’s assertions to the contrary) and full of flaws, but it denies a basic tenet of the Christian faith—the creation of our world as described in Genesis 1. Indeed, evidence of speciation and adaptation (not evolution) of the created animal kinds can be observed everyone in our world today and is on clear display even at this museum.

This is a lovely museum that is tastefully organized and easy to digest using your senses. Admission is free. I had the museum all to myself at 11 am on a Thursday. I highly recommend it for all ages tho I think children especially will love the little to grand scale of dinosaur bones in its collection. It also features a tribute to its renown collector/paleontologist at the entrance along with his assorted tools. This triggered the Indiana Jones in me. And tempts the viewer to consider the many minerals and gemological treasures hidden deep within the rocks that were once the domain of dinosaurs.

Something going on there everyday. (Graduations, weddings) Flower beds were awesome. We didn't get opportunity to peek inside.

We stumbled upon this accidentally but decided to stop by. $5 lab fee and then the rest depends on the size of the soap. There are directions on what to do provided and the worker walked us through the process. Lots of mold choices, colors, options, etc. Took us just under 1 hr. There are pre-made soaps available for purchase.

All kinds of entertainment here! Plays, concerts, exhibits! Something for everyone. Not a bad seat in the house. Theater is small enough that you can see/hear from everywhere!

Absolutely beautiful. Lots of leaves changing. Lots of shade on the trail. Challenging enough for kids but not too hard for them. We even saw a group of sheep. RECOMMEND 100%!!!

Clearly, the curators appreciate the talent and interests among its researchers and students. We found a very interesting exhibit showing fake jade carvings from ancient real ones, and a weaving exhibit from Central America. The exhibits were of high quality, approachable and understandable. Reading level of older elementary age is assumed.

We took our older grandchildren bowling here and liked that it was not noisy and crowded upstairs. Seems it was cheaper for us to get some deal with credits for the video arcade downstairs, so we used it up, racking up points for some pretty overpriced "prizes". I would bring grandkids back here again, as they have a big variety of activities.

It’s a beautiful walk along the Provo River. Since there’s woks being done next to the trail in some spots they represented an unexpected interruption.

I’ve done this hike several times. I’m sure it can be done with smaller children but you’ll end up carrying them for all or part of it. Hike isn’t too bad and the view is spectacular.

I have not been inside because I was never "Temple worthy" and don't get me started on the LDS in Utah. You cannot go inside unless you are LDS and approved - so don't do that if you are just sightseeing.

However, its a very pretty Temple outside, and this photo is in the winter, but I went when it had pink roses all over!

The LDS Temples are usually pretty, with very pretty grounds. You just can't go in unless you are LDS an approved to do so.

I used to have photos but do not anymore unfortunately. But in the summer, it was surrounded on the grounds by all these gorgeous pink roses.

I stopped by because I had an organ lesson nearby.

May I also add that when I left, I was tailed by some vicious cars and almost run off the road - never figured out why but I had Colorado plates at the time.

Anyway, if you visit Provo this is pretty and near campus.
