- Jeremy F5 contributionsThis is a great canyon to drive through. Plenty of places to safely pull over and enjoy the scenery or even the sounds of nature. The Logan River runs parallel to the road. Many off road camp sites.Written November 28, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- where2nextbabeTroy, MO700 contributionsWe actually went Memorial Day weekend. It was a Saturday and we arrived late morning. Both parking lots were full. People were parking across the busy HWY. So we did as well. Just be very careful crossing the HWY.
No facilities of any kind. The main tail head was under water but there was a path to the trail from the secondary lot. Other than that, there was no water on the trail or mud to speak of.
Bring water, bring a hat and definitely bring a camera to capture the amazing views from the entire hike. Take time to stop and look out!! We had to stop several times to catch out breath.
Trail is well maintained, there were lots of people on the trail. Dogs are ok…if yours is behaved.
Took about and hour and 20 minutes round trip. Like I said, we stopped to take photos, take drinks, and breathe!!

After you walk to the top of the paved area, you will see a trailhead sign. This great trail rises through a cool forest along a stream with a moderate slope. The rest of the trail is fairly flat and open, at about 7000 feet elevation, and with some noise coming up from the main road. Many grasshoppers on the dry parts of the trail!Written December 3, 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Cherise R24 contributionsWe’re from Texas and had a few hours to burn in Idaho and found this place via Google. So fun! Only $7 and they have two legit diving boards and two legit slides plus a huge pool and a toddler pool. Water was cool and refreshing.
The lifeguards were focused and safe but not insane which was appreciated. The kids could have fun … the diving boards were the best part! Don’t see them much anymore but every child should get to jump off a high dive in their childhood! :)Written August 5, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. (Read Senior Citizen) USU offers many interesting classes with use of library, rec center and pool on their beautiful campus. After so many years wonderful to be back on a college campus learning something new. The city goes above and beyond offering music, art and events almost every day of the the 2.5 months.Written June 20, 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Jim TAmsterdam, NY325 contributionsI learned about Beaver Mountain when I purchased an Indy Pass, and decided to give them a try for a day rather than use two Powder Mountain days on my short trip to Utah. What a great decision. It's definitely my kind of place. Park close and for free, reasonable prices on everything, friendly and helpful staff and skiers. It also helps that the weather was perfect with plenty of powder to explore and perfect packed powder on the groomers.Written February 9, 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. We have taken many groups into White Pine Lake and everyone has enjoyed the trip. The hike is not difficult except for a short stretch near the lake of about 300 yards. Highly recommend this as a day hike for anyone that is in reasonable shape.Written January 22, 2019This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - ErinPleasant Grove, UT13 contributionsWe visited today with our eight year old son, he had the best time. We purchased duck food, and he loved feeding the ducks. - RichSan Diego, CA681 contributionsThis Temple is so beautiful. The architecture is a bit different than the ‘typical’ white/marble-like temples you see so often. This one has a unique build, a special character. A gorgeous building.Written October 7, 2021This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - G4939PMkateaSpokane, WA3 contributionsJust a quick 45 minute hike before Thanksgiving dinner this year. Great parking area, easy access, just off the highway at the entrance to the canyon. Nicely groomed trail for walking -- out and back, with beautiful scenery. Day was cold and the wind really got us in the end, but was well worth it!Written November 25, 2018This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC.
