Antelope Island, which is a Utah State park, is a short distance off the shore of the Great Salt Lake, just northwest of Salt Lake City, and west of Farmington, completely surrounded by the Great Salt Lake.
Kudos to Utah state parks for designing, setting up and maintaining such an excellent facility and I'm glad to say under-utilized as you really feel like you got away from civilization!
