- BigredmachineSalt Lake City, UT2,229 contributionsWe played about a dozen rounds here during the summer and fall of 2016. We rate it 4 out of 5 base on the following criteria listed in order of importance to us:
⛳Greens and Bunkers:
You can tell a lot about a golf course base on how they take care of their greens and sand bunkers: greens were in good condition its of the summer and in excellent condition in the fall. They were firm with medium speed and relatively easy to read. Sand bunkers were top-notch, good sand with no rocks.
⛳Course Design:
This flat course can accommodate a variety of skill levels and has a nice variety of hole designs. Although the terrain is flat, there are a lot of trees which will penalize you is you get off the fairway. The course has 4 sets of tees that play at 6800, 6200, 5600 and 5200 yards.
⛳Clubhouse Staff:
This is where Schneiter's Bluff excels; all the Staff here were friendly and helpful and made us feel that our business was valued. Even on days when the course is really crowded, they will make every effort to get you out. Contrast this to their neighboring course, Glen Eagle, where they act like they could care less if you ever comeback.
⛳Course Value:
They have reasonable green fees for this area.Written April 9, 2017This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. If you want to test your pool skills this is where some of the best stay sharp. cut-throat, 3-ball, 8-ball are the specials. Or get an extra spicy combo pizza, have a brew and watch the game. FYI this is not a high-class joint, come as you are. A popular stop after a long ride to whet the whistle and chow down.Written February 15, 2017This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC.
