We booked this guided hike even though we are experienced hikers who would rarely consider needing a guide and we were so happy we had Tom to guide us. We were the only 2 people in the group (and we only saw 8 other people during the entire hike). Tom knew just how much to talk to us to provide geological, nature and historical information while making sure we didn't miss a good viewing point; while allowing time for quiet reflection on the amazing wonders we experienced. He brought a wonderful lunch spread which we shared on a rock in the gulch. I was a little worried about the downclimb into the middle of the gulch, due to a fear of heights. Turns out that it's tiered, so that you never look straight down more than about 20 feet, so my fears were not triggered. The climb up was a little tricky for my short legs, but Tom was there to help. We are still talking about this to everyone who will listen! BEST DECISION OF THE TRIP - to book this tour.

As avid hikers who have hit trails on six continents, we’ve utilized a wide range of tour companies, and Seeking Treasure Adventures ranks among the highest in quality. Our experience was exceptional, start to finish. We originally booked White Pocket, but owner Yermo was helpful in accommodating an itinerary change when we also secured a permit for South Coyote Buttes, weeks later. When we arrived in Page, there was good follow-through in messaging us about our meeting point, timing, and contact details, and all rolled absolutely seamlessly on the tour. Our guide, Brand, made the entire day shine — he’s exceedingly knowledgeable, prepared, friendly, and astute, taking the client’s skill level and wishes into full account. He and others at Seeking Treasure also serve as the backups to the local search-and-rescue crew, so you could not ask for a more equipped and experienced team. Brand showed us everything from the most popular vantages to those that were more obscure but even more exciting and beautiful in perspective. He is also a highly capable driver in the route’s deep sands, and the vehicle was comfortable and sturdy. Having a private guide is always an immensely preferable option, and Seeking Treasure Adventures ensures a personalized tour that will help you find the treasure you seek — simply outstanding!

My girls and I booked this trip back in January but due to a flash flood the night before our trip, buckskin and wire pass were closed. Our guide, Brand, asked us if we wanted to go the middle route instead. We said yes, not knowing it was a class 3 & 4 hike. It was incredible. Brand talked to us about all the history and showed us petroglyphs along the way. We had to go down a very steep descent into the gulch and being afraid of heights, I was terrified. Brand was so patient and helped me navigate down and back up. The gulch had water in it due to the flash flood but that made it even more incredible. Brand was a fantastic guide and I would request him again and recommend him to anyone needing a guide.
