We’ve had this place on our to do list since our daughter started at Baylor University. We stopped in before the game today and it was amazing. Reagan, the site manager was our tour guide and full of information. Our group was large and she managed to answer all our questions. The indoor dig site is an active site allow an hour to two for our visit. We walked around the Eagle Scout trails after our tour. I would recommend this to anyone visiting,

This is a neat museum and relatively inexpensive. We made it just in time for the 45 minute video that gives the overall story of the Texas Rangers. There is a lot of history and it’s worth a visit.
They had a map to find our way around. There was a gift shop.

It’s cool to be at the place Dr Pepper was first made. Lots of cool memorabilia. There’s a gift shop and an area to try and create your own soda.
A free Dr Pepper is included with your ticket.

I wish the museum had arrows on which way to start or go.
Some rooms you aren’t quite sure where to start.

This is a great zoo in a relaxing era of Waco. Although close to the city, it has a country feel as you approach through Cameron Park. There are a few animals we had never seen before and the animals here seemed more active than most zoos we have been too. The elephant was moving and making noises the whole time and we got to see the rhinoceros pull out of the mud and reposition into the shade. Both cool experiences! We would do another visit if in Waco again.

Kate was our host. She let us try the Albarino, Counoise, Garnacha, Mourvedre and Zephyr. Kate is a great host, very knowledgeable and nice. The wines were delicious and we had a great time! We'll definitely come back!

This is just a cool place to visit. The bronze sculptures add to the charm of this footbridge. I was glad it was mid-morning, so I escaped the heat of the day.

This park is awesome with so many things to see and areas to explore. The statues are very cool and the different scenic spots are equally as exciting in their own right. We spent hours here on multiple days to get the full experience. The people of Waco are lucky to have such a gem in their backyard!

This is a great place for young and older people alike. If you are not thrilled about young kids running around, you may want to skip this, but if you don't mind, it's worth the trip. There is a humpback whale skull that's enormous, a bunch of dinosaur and Cretaceous era fossils, and walk-in dioramas where you feel like you're walking back in time, into the forest, for example, there's also a replica of the Waco Mammoth National Monument. Plan to spend a couple of hours here.

We went on a tour with Sherry, which lasted around 1-1/2 hours. This is a beautiful library housing a collection of antiques, personal belongs, furniture, letters, and art work belonging to Robert Browning and Elizabeth Barrett Browning. The history is interesting and informative. You could probably visit the library on your own, but, if possible, schedule a docent led tour to get the most out of your visit. Located on the Baylor campus. There is free street parking around the building.

Was more intrigued by the location and how far away from civilization. Drove down. Gravel filled roads to get there. It quietly sits off to the side with a gated entrance. No one is around, it's all self guided. There is a church on the site and it's very surreal with the pond and horses and a flowering tree lined drive. Was glad I came but not something I would squeeze in as a 'have to see'.

My family visited Baylor last year for a campus tour with my rising senior. We had already toured South Carolina, Clemson, Georgia, VT, Tenn and Texas A&M. Baylor was by far the best tour, nicest people, most beautiful campus. They really treat you like family from the time you show up until you leave. He has since been accepted and will be attending this Fall 2024. His academic advisor has been there every time we have a question with an immediate response either via email or text. And he visited the Charlotte area, and we were able to meet him in person. When you think of what a great college experience looks like, it's Baylor. Being private, Christian and conservative were all pluses for my son and his interests. We are delighted and thankful that he chose Baylor and are so excited to see him go, learn, grow, thrive and excel as a Bear this Fall!

The stadium is large, and it can accommodate many people. Some areas have comfortable stadium seats, and some areas are plain concrete. Security screening before entering and see-through bags are the only ones allowed [see website regarding security restrictions]. It rained when we went in October for homecoming, but brining ponchos helped us stay relatively dry. They have shuttle bus's that take you from the stadium to the downtown area where there is free parking.
