Late spring weather was perfect and the zoo is a great, low-impact activity, especially for those with small kids.
DK and Lottie Caldwell loved children and were so generous to build a very fine zoo for our community.

This place is the kind of "science center " I would have LOVED as a child...fun for all ages...my 9 year old had fun but its probably best for ages 3 to 7-8 or so although there was a play area for lil ones...wort...
There are great little stations for the imagination there's a mini bank, court, shopping area, vet clinic, tv station, restaurant that the kids can play out.
