When I googled “things to do near me”, this place came up. It’s a hidden treasure! Can’t wait to go back!

This isn't like other Six Flags owned parks. Six Flags spoiled me by being able to order and pay for food in the app at Fiesta Texas and both parks in Arlington. No such luck here. There's one place to buy food, so be prepared to stand in line. It seems more than just a tech glitch, bc they don't even have any areas where the pickup windows would be.

The park map. Whether online or in the app, the map is a low resolution pdf that is impossible to read. It's very outdated. There is not a Rudy's BBQ in the park nor a Bahama Bucks, so don't get your hopes up. Because it's not interactive, searching for lockers, restrooms, even what food to get where is a chore.

So for lockers, there really is only one bank of lockers and it's on the opposite side of the park from the front gate. Genius!

There's a decent amount of rides. However, the signage throughout the park is awful and you'll miss a lot if you don't just explore for yourself. You have to walk past the exit to the Rip Qurl and around a corner before you see the ride entrance. And if you've stumbled down this unmarked path, you'll also find the Stingray Racer!

As for non-alcoholic drinks, it looks like they'll have a drink refill station soon, but there weren't any up and running the weekend I went.

As for adult beverages, there is Sharky's Bar. I was excited to see liquor bottles, bc I'm not a beer girl. I couldn't for the life of me understand why the line was moving so slow. As I approach to order my Crown and Sprite, she says, "We only have these." And that explained the delay. You could choose from beer, or several specialty cocktails. Look. Just charge me $13, leave out the pineapple juice and orange juice, substitute Crown for coconut rum and proceed with Sierra Mist. But no. But really, look at this menu. Why did they even bring out the Crown (original, vanilla, and black), Jack Daniels (regular and Single Barrel), and a plethora of other bottles that aren't used in this limited array of cocktails.

Seems like plenty of seating, and there IS a Diamond Member seating area near the wave pool.

Tube Rentals are $6.00/day. Why that information is so hard to find, I'll never know.

They DO accept the premium season dining pass, even though you will not find this information on their website or in the app. Use it for burgers, chicken tenders, or pizza at Tidal Wave Cafe. Claim your snack at Island Bob's Funnel Cakes or at the snack bar right outside TWC that's not listed on their website.

Lots of rude teens acting like they own the place, so just FYI. I watched a kid who was obviously a little slow go up and hand 2 membership passes to a group of about 10 teens who had left them on the side of the wave pool. Instead of saying thanks, they literally yelled at him and it sounded like they wanted to fight. That poor kid was so scared and he was just trying to do a good deed!

Mercer Park has beautiful gardens and walking paths, and offers some really great classes. It is quite a hidden treasure for any age.

Great paved trail and not overly populated. It’s a gem! Runs along the creek but not so close that it gets ruined by rain and mud. Excellent greenery and plenty of shade. There are bathrooms along the route and water.

On Thursday, May 27, 2021, four of us visited around 5:00 PM. Ordering and seating were outdoors, at least the weather was pleasant and there were fans. The outdoor area was well landscaped and large.
Wine tasting was $10 for 4 selections of your choice. We each selected from the red wines for our tastings and though the wines were flavorful. Our favorite was the Texas 2 Step. For food we ordered the fruit and goat cheese empanadas and the onion confit and Gorgonzola cheese flatbread, both were very tasty.
Thursday has wine specials for Thirsty Thursday’s.
    Staff were friendly.

They set up at different farmers markets but they also have a market onsite to buy their fresh veggies. They also have strawberry fields where you can pick your own berries! Go early though bc the berries go fast!

We took our 3 year old granddaughter for her first visit and she loved the variety of the different bouncing activities. They have a couple of sections set aside for the little ones so she never found herself in an activity with older more rambunctious kids.
Price was very low and it covers the entire day so it might be possible to come and go depending on your schedule.
Only snacks and drinks can be purchased but you can order from several places in the vicinity and they will deliver so it is not a big negative.

My kids enjoyed this park. It's got a playground for younger and older kids and lots of room to run around.

The shop has some decent pieces but the selection is a little hit or miss. I have been to several galleries with more selection.
