We found this dog friendly vineyard by chance. We tried some really good wines and we had a good plate of cheese.I wish to come back soon.

As the gate attendant said, "There are 13 miles of trails." Most are shared bike/hike trails. On a weekday afternoon, we shared the trail with one mountain biker. (It's probably different on evenings and weekends.) Trail intersections are numbered and make route-finding easy. No arduous up-hills! The ecology is pretty typical of hill country. We went counter-clockwise starting from the north (#500) trailhead and (in trail order) 404 - 402 - 405 - 406 - back to 404 and 500 to finish. About two+ miles and we strolled it in just over an hour. Some open areas from 405 to 404, could be hot and sunny.

It’s beautiful spot and we love the giant wind chimes and the garden area but the natural pool isn’t what we thought it would be. It’s a small, water isn’t clear as we thought in swim area but the waterfall is refreshing and cold. The other people are friendly and considerate. You’re allowed to bring in ice chest with cans only.

We stopped in on a Sunday afternoon, just to kill some time before a dinner in Spicewood. What a pleasant surprise! We were met by very friendly and helpful staff (the owners, I think). They served up some delicious, unusual cocktails. The relaxed atmosphere made it easy for our party to have a nice chat with a couple of local patrons. The place came complete with some young kids playing, and a beautiful, friendly host dog. I gave the owner a heads-up on a suggested new cocktail to serve, a Bloody Caesar. I’m betting they will try it. If they do, I’ll enjoy one or two on my next visit. Great spot.

bluebonnets were spectacular. I couldn't believe how many large meadows there were all planted with them.
Nice place to walk around. Enjoyed seeing Lake Travis.
Only problem for us was that the trail we were looking for was either closed or not well marked. We were disappointed with the lack of signage for trails.

Remotely located property with pleasant views of the countryside. Interesting flavors of gin and rum available. Although their tasting room is fairly small, there is plenty of room outside on their patio, plus spacious grounds for various activities, complete with picnic tables. We shall be back another time when live entertainment is scheduled. Good Place!!

I went last Saturday and the experience was fantastic! The meat was superb and the service was very friendly and welcoming. The empanadass and the view unbeatable. Morcilla, chorizo y provoleta just like in Argentina. We finished with an incredible dessert (panqueque with dulce de leche with ice cream)! Best dessert ever! I am originally from Argentina and it was so good to eat quality food here in Texas!

This was an excellent adventure. Hard to find as there is no sign at the turn off Texas 71. This place was a hiker's dream. Lots of elevation gain and views. Good trails but could have been marked better. There was a large primitive campground with sites overlooking the lake. Have the correct amount of cash for your entry fees and camping fees. There is no formal "entrance station" just a box to drop your fees in. Honor system so be nice. Horses are allowed on some trails here and there is an equestrian area

You and the horse. Go slow, fast, take a break is your horse. You tell your horse what to do. Go see the water at the park while taking an awesome adventurous trail. Sit, relax , and enjoy the views. Or go fast and run. You decide :)

This is a day use only park. Has a bathroom, boat Launch, and a few picnicking tables.
Great place if you need to launch a boat. No fees, its free. Not a hole lot of lake access.

From the first time I came across their website, I was excited to stay in one of their treehouses. Booked a stay for 2 in the Lofthaven, and it exceeded the high expectations I had. The photos of this treehouse were beautiful, but to see it in person was breathtaking! The beautiful waterfall tub was heated and simple to operate. The kitchenette was stocked with basic necessities, though I would recommend bringing snacks. The bed was comfortable, and the property was so serene. It did get a bit chilly overnight, but a heater, robes, and extra blankets were provided. The contact-free check in process was seamless, clear directions were given to the treehouse, and there were posted signs that helped as well. I did not get to experience the canopy tours as they were closed for COVID, but I look forward to returning in the future. This place was absolutely worth every penny and hour spent on the drive up. If you're considering it, I highly recommend, but be sure to plan ahead because it books up for months, and for very good reason.

Fantastic trip! We booked through CaribeSail, so our flights, ferries to the sailboat, etc. were all coordinated and went smoothly. My companion had sailed previously with a group of friends through CaribeSail, but I had never sailed. We were a little apprehensive about being on a boat for a week with 8 people we didn't know plus the captain and chef. We had the time of our lives snorkeling in beautiful waters, deep sea fishing, and exploring new places. Everyone was on the trip with the same goal, relax and just have a great time. Not only did we have a terrific group from all over the world representing 5 countries, but the boat itself and the crew also made the trip super enjoyable. There was plenty of room to spread out while sailing from island to island, and the meals provided were outstanding. We are looking forward to our next sail, be it with friends or another group of strangers and an opportunity to make more new friends. Thanks Mark and Caribe!

This course is owned and maintained by Willie Nelson; it is a rough as he is, but the rules are great. "No more than 12 in a foursome." "No bikinis, mini-skirts, skimpy see-through or sexually exploitative attire allowed - except on women." "I shot 48 the other day and was 2 under."
