Limit search to Richmond.
George Ranch Historical Park
#1 of 20 things to do in Richmond
It offers something for everyone: kid-friendly attractions, farm animals, historical house tours and activities, wide open spaces, and shaded picnic areas.
Also as always, the hosts of the homes were gracious, and willing to answer questions about their time period, dress, and the George/Jones families as they settled here in Texas.
1 Way to experience it
Santikos Palladium AVX Entertainment
#2 of 20 things to do in Richmond
The Palladium is a wonderful place, with great food, comfortable seats, and live entertainment on the occasion .Terrific for date night,or bringing your kids down to having some time with the kids.
It's the perfect place to go bowling with family and friends, catch a movie, shoot a round of pool and the menu is quite good---fast foodie, but tasty.
Fort Bend Museum

They do tours of the two historical homes on the property, both are beautiful and well maintained, the tour guide was informative and great with the four kids that were with another couple, very interactive.
This museum has so much history and exhibits of Texas history which all started with Stephen F Austin starting his old 300 family groups!

I would recommend if you are going with relatively young kids (ages 6-11) that you bring at least a few adults or make sure you sign up at a time that has some more spots filled so you can work together as a team...
Thanks for being such a family oriented place and allowing my kids to have such a wonderful experience!
