Had an excellent bay fishing experience with Frankie the captain. I would highly recommend for bay fishing in Port Aransas!

Fun boat tour. 90 minutes on the water. Saw several dolphins and the kids had a great time seeing/touching the sea animals the nets brought in. Staff did a great job making sure anything put in the ‘touch table’ was safe and explaining what was all caught in the net and why or why not it was safe to be touched.

We LOVED the cruise! Scenery is beautiful, boat is comfortable! Loved seeing the lighthouse and all of the dolphins! If you are in Port A you have to check out Capt Kirk’s Tiki Cruises! Best part is you can make your reservations online!

I just dawned on me that we’ve taken the sunset cruise several times, and I have yet to write a Trip Advisor review, so here goes.

Yes, summer’s are hot on the Texas Coast. Yes, there’s a chance it may rain anytime. Yes, the prices have increased slightly over the years. Yes, the dolphins are wild and swim when and where they want to, but the captain does his very best to sail where they normally have dolphin activity. There is a very good chance you will see some dolphins.

The operation is very punctual and usually sails and returns within two to three minutes of the schedule.

Check the forecast when you book your cruise because you cannot cancel inside of 48 hours, and canceling before that incurs a hefty fee. If an illness or something up pops up, they may offer you a gift certificate to use later, good for one year.

You cannot bring outside food and drink on board, but the company will gladly sell you some. Alcoholic drinks are also available for purchase. I’d like to think they would at least allow passengers to take a water bottle on board. (Especially for me diabetic wife.) Even when I purchased the bottle of water in their store ($1.50) I couldn’t take it onboard but they’d sell me a bottle ($2.00) once on board.

In addition to dolphin spotting, the first mate provides educational information about the dolphins, and historical information about the surrounding area.

They added a new fun twist to the cruise recently. You just may have to defend the Scarlet Lady, her crew and the passengers from the evil pirates aboard any passing pirate ships. Watch out.

Obviously we enjoy this activity or we wouldn’t have gone so many times.

I give them 4 Trip Advisor dots for a relaxing and enjoyable evening boat ride. If it’s hot, at least you’ll still feel the breeze when underway.

For this who carry, be forewarned there is a sign at the dock, right before you board.

Top rated fishing trip! We had the best 5 hour fishing trip with the highlight being catching a huge stingray! Will definitely book with these guys the next time.

Booked a 12 hr trip, caught a few snapper. The captain and deck hand were a complete joke. Pull up to a spot, fish for 5 minutes, then drive an hr to the next place. REPEAT !!! They had soggy sandwiches for lunch. Come to find out, the captain is a used car salesman in Lubbock, TX. It definitely showed.

DO NOT BOOK WITH THIS CHARTER !!!
