I joined I love kickboxing in October. I go to the Atlantic and Beach Blvd location in Jacksonville Fl. The coaches there are amazing. They are upbeat, knowledgeable and always seem like they are happy to be there. Most of all everyone there is always encouraging each other to push through the workout and give it their all. I joined the 6 week challenge and eventually signed up for the year. I’m looking forward to the next twelve months and the changes to come. Great full body workout. The facility is always clean too which is a plus in these crazy times.

We stopped by the Temple to see the architecture. Photography is allowed on the outside but respectfully not inside.

We are always looking for after daycare options for our grand daughter when we visit. This was a great option for a hot summer day. They are tucked away in a local strip mall but don't overlook them. The play area gives kids the chance to use their imagination in the little village or work off energy in the bounce house and climbing area. We took our toddler (20 months) and she was completely happy playing for over 2 hours. It is probably best for kids that are 3-9 but it worked great for her too. They have a tiny tots area for kids under 3 and she liked that area too. It was clean and seemed to still be fairly new. We didn't get anything from the little cafe, but we saw other families grab snacks. There is a separate eating area- no food in the play area. Our little one would have stayed longer, but we had to head home. Putting this one on our list for a repeat visit next time we visit.

Enjoyed the hands-on exhibits and appreciated the helpful and engaging staff member. Parents or grandparents and kids can learn about local birds and wildlife and get up close to two young alligators! Plan on 20 minutes or so in air conditioned comfort. Good bird watching outside during migration season.

I have started going here in the last few months and find it a nice place to meet some local people. There have been a few athletes I have seen that live in the pearland area at this place. The food is average but the company and drinks are what you come for to this place. Nice outdoor seating and TV's everywhere.

Back in town visiting family. We played this course twice during our stay. Greens and fairways were in good shape. Fairways are wide and forgiving. Four sets of tees makes the course friendly for all levels of golfers. This clearly a popular course and super busy in the early morning. Pace of play was pretty even both days- finishing our rounds in 3 hours one day and 3.5 hours the second day. Our only negative comment was the condition of the bunkers. The course includes lunch in the price of the round. Will return next time we are in town.

We visited Hurling Hatchets for the first time Thursday, wanting to see the facility and get an idea of how it operated. We were pleased to see the facility was very open with lots of room to enjoy the experience. We were provided safety training and instruction on how to throw the axes. Our coach Jennifer was very helpful and worked with us through our visit. We had a choice of axe size to throw which was nice. The facility does not sell beverages or food but there is no rule on bringing food in or even having food delivered. BYO water, soft drinks, beer and/or wine, (some groups roll in a cooler.) No hard liquor is allowed. Walk-ins are allowed, single/couple and group reservations can be made.

Had a Sunday lunch there. Perfect timing right before the church crowd. Did the 2 for $25 special. Both ordered the bacon burger and it was actually extremely good. Service was ok. Overall, good meal.

The movie I was there to see got stuck and froze. I found an employee who tried to get the theater manager to help but the manager wouldn't open the door when the employee kept knocking. I went back and sat down in the theater. After 10 minutes it still wasn't working so I found the same employee and asked her to get the manager for me. She kept knocking on the door and then the manager FINALLY came out and went upstairs to fix the movie. The manager never apologized for the movie problem and did not seem very interested in customer satisfaction. As a side note, she was dressed very unprofessionally with a knit cap on and baggy clothes. She looked like a gang banger.
