- Diane GPontefract, UK107 contributionsBeautiful peaceful area despite the renovations. The public bus from Benalmadena was nice and easy and very cheap when using the prepaid card.
‘Churros and you’ cafe was a great stop and we had fabulously hot coffees and the freshest churros all for under 5€…the staff were very friendly too.
We walked around the area and down to the monument which is spectacular. Well worth the walk down and only 2€ each for pensioners.

So glad we made the trip. Short walking distance from the train station which was a bonus! Walking through the park surrounded by colorful butterflies and tropical plants felt like a mini escape from world. It’s a great place to relax, reflect, and take beautiful photos at your own pace. The staff was friendly, and the information provided about the butterflies was interesting. The park is small, so it doesn’t take long to explore, but it’s perfect for a quiet solo outing. There was a dolphin and bird show a few times during the day and several talks about different animals around the park so it’s definitely good value for money.
