- County-HunterTacoma, WA3,735 contributionsThere are two separate caves here...Crystal and Fantasy. If you are going to take the time and effort to drive or take the bus or taxi here, you might as well do both. One cave will set you back $24 and the combo is $35 for both, so definitely a better deal. And they will try and structure your tours so you won't have to wait too long between them. We were on site for less than 2 hours.
We have been in caves all over the world and thought that these two were just as scenic as some of the other well known caves we've been in. If you only have time for one cave, do Crystal Cave. It is the larger of the two and you get to walk out on a floating pontoon walkways to see the features. It is also less humid and cooler, and is an easier walk. There are more steps in Fantasy Cave and they are much steeper and the humidity is noticeably higher. But I am 63 and not in the best of shape and I did both caves without any issues. We went in the off season (December) so we were able to walk up and get tickets. If you go during tourist season, you probably should get reservations.Written December 29, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. I got the fish sandwich with seasoned fries which were very tasty.

Exactly as we pictured it! However you have to be careful going down for a swim because there’s no "man made" path to go in the water, only rocks and boy do they hurt when you step on them barefoot and they’re also slippery. Next time I will bring some water shoes. Also if you’re feeling adventurous you can jump off the cliff it’s not too high up but not too low, just perfect.Written August 15, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - RoseAnn TSt. George, Bermuda53 contributionsHarrington Sound Road is an inner road which if you travel along, it will remind you of circling a crater hole that is made when a volcano erupts. Folklore has it that the depth in some areas of this "sound" is unknown. Towards the eastern end, "Shark Hole Hill" corner has a cave that is very beautiful to catch sight of.Written September 28, 2015This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - ErinWoodbridge, NJ8 contributionsWorst Customer Service!!!
Grotto Bay’s Spa service representative was rude and truly ruined a day planned at the resort. My cousin and I planned massages in the Nature Spa which is located in the caves of the resort. I made 4 calls to them over 2 months before we arrived for our massage appointments as we planned on spending the full day there until our late afternoon appointments. We arrived in the morning after traveling from across the island in early September and did as we were directed to go to the front desk and purchase our day passes as was confirmed. While they don’t guarantee them, the woman I spoke to told me we would be fine, multiple confirmations over the phone. When the Spa Rep came up, she said they discontinued day passes the week before. I asked why we were not notified of this since I just confirmed last week and she did not have an answer except that they are not guaranteed. But they stopped issuing day passes according to her all together. During this discussion, she was rude and offered as an alternative to go eat lunch and linger for 4 hrs at their pool bar but we could not use the pool or beach. So we could sit around spending more money at their pool bar eating and drinking until our massages but couldn’t use their pool on a gorgeous hot day after traveling almost 2 hrs to get there. We were extremely upset to hear this especially as she seemed very put out that we were interrupting her lunch break. So I told her to enjoy her lunch and we left very disappointed and angry. We regrouped outside and decided to walk to the Swizzle Inn and enjoyed lunch. While there, I called the Spa to cancel our massages after dealing with this obnoxious woman who has no business in hospitality. I explained we would not care to return for our massages given the treatment we received and she said she will have to charge us because they were full and many hotel guests wanted appointments. I said well then this works out, call them and give them our slots. She said she can do that but would still charge us because they have a 24 hr cancellation policy. I understand that when there is no one to take the slots, but if there are…why charge? Instead of de-escalating the situation, she was so rude and completely escalated this situation. I did tell her that I have never encountered someone so rude in the hospitality business and she could not care a less but wanted to know if we were still coming. I told her we’ll think about it, We were getting charged either way. We were very disappointed with the whole experience but I will say we went and would never take away from the massage therapists, they were excellent. However, gratuity already added to bill that you get emailed afterwards so the cash tip we gave unknowingly was given twice so beware. In all my travels, and I travel quite frequently- this resort spa service was a disaster and a shame. Would never recommend it!Tip:Terrible Customer Service- be carefulWritten October 27, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC.
