Best deal in town! Our driver, Manuel, was wonderful! He showed us all the sites and explained the history of the city during the tour. He was friendly and knowledgeable. Would highly recommend this tour to anyone!
Sumptuous, extravagant, a pawn to conspicuous consumption by an autocratic monarchy funded from the wealth of the Americas and a governmental system that centralised power and the flow of that wealth. Gorgeous, spectacular, slightly awful like so many dynastic palaces of autocrats, but wonderful to see. I started to understand the Spanish Bourbons, their desire to outdo the French Bourbons at Versailles. Very very well worth the visit.
The trip was very well organized! I really enjoyed the walking tours of each city. I got to understand Madrid's history better by seeing it first hand!
We were only in Madrid one day en route to AndalusĂa, so we booked in advance, and straight from dropping our bags at the hotel to the check-in point for the tour. The check-in was punctual, smooth and easy. A little jet-lagged, the Old-Town tour was not super-engaging for me through no fault of our charming, knowledgeable guide. The palace and views of the cathedral were beautiful and whether you’re in town for one day or several, it must be on your list. Fun and Tickets is top notch and I would not hesitate to book then again.
Javier was an amazing guide. So knowledgeable and entertaining. He also gave lots of suggestions of places to eat and things to do after the tour. Would highly recommend.
Roderigo! He was amazing! The tour of Madrid was very interesting. We had great tapas in four different venues and then had drinks at a roof top bar with a great view of madrid
Did the 3 hour city tour in Feb 2025. 9 people in our group. A mix of Normal/Electric Bikes. The E Bikes were fun to ride around and made getting up the small inclines easy (we didn't have any serious hills to navigate). We were taken around the city and through various parks. Some road riding (through the very busy city) but our guide gave us clear instructions on what do do (the bike lanes are often in the outer lane, as opposed to on the inside in the UK). Our guide (Angie I think) was terrific. Friendly, Knowledgeable, Fun and Adorable!
This was the first thing we did after landing in Madrid. Landed 08:00. Tour meeting time was 11:00. Easy to find starting point and our guide did a great job taking us thru the palace. She did well with explanations and helped us not only enjoy the palace which is amazing, but to learn and understand the important historical context too. This was the perfect tour and experience to hit the ground running with.
The experience was great, and the guide was very informative, making the tour interesting. The only issue I had was that the guides arrived late to the meeting spot and were not holding a clearly visible sign. Additionally, they were standing in front of the Starbucks by the Opera Metro station instead of the designated meetup point, which was inconvenient due to passing traffic.
Our guide, Clara, was knowledgeable and witty. She seemed to enjoy telling us about her country. We enjoyed learning about Spanish history and art from her
Booked to get a first look around the city and our bearings. Did both routes (non extended versions). Positive, it kept us dry as the weather was rubbish. Negative, the amount of condensation when the roof is closed means you can’t see anything apart from the window you’re sat next to after wiping down. Wouldn’t say it was worth the €22 each but it filled a morning. The conductor was great though, knowledgeable and showing people where they needed to go when getting off.
