The park is beautiful! Camp sites are spacious, trails are well maintained, entire park is clean and we had an alligator checking out people fishing on the dock. We are definitely coming back!

This is a very Godzilla-sized statue. You might see it from I-45. Please stop by! There are a visitor center and gift shop.I got complimentary coffee at the visitor center. And I saw a cat at the visitor center. She is very adrable. I called him " Sam". LOL.

It was a very interesting visit. The staff was friendly and helpful. In particular the stories about the rodeo were interesting. Nice place to visit.

If you want to learn how Hunstville and even Texas was shaped by a few men then this is the museum for you. The artifacts and memorabilia is astounding for a museum this small so that alone makes it extremely interesting. Seeing the tools and weapons of that age in person is riveting if you're into that kind of historical fodder. Won't disppoint!

While visiting freinds in Huntsville, we made it a point to stop in here. What a fun place to spend some time. She has just about anything you could imagine. My friend found some cute dress gloves, and I found a cute wall placque to put in our Florida home. So many things that I remember having, but not enough foresight to hang on to them. Luckily some people did, and they are there for your enjoyment. Be sure to stop in here if you are in the area. it is definitely worth the time!

I love old cemetery's and this one did not disappoint. Besides the impressive monument for Sam Houston, there were many other old graves to wander through. The grounds have very mature trees with lots of shade.

Aunique Ranch Gypsy horse ranch is a fantastic place to take friends or family for a getaway.
the owners make you feel welcome and are very laid back and friendly.
they give you a short program that provides the history of the horses.
then on the tour you are able to interact with the horses learning their names and
    history
i have taken 5 groups of people with no disappointments

I just wanted to start off by saying we have visited this cemetery more than once around 4 times one of the times I went with my boyfriend and his brother and a few friends we were all standing in the back of the newer cemetery and we heard what sounded like something running up on us well no big deal but after that I could hear what sounded like a growing sound to say the least this stuff follows you home that night we got back my trash can lid flew off and I could hear a females voice in my daughters room as well as a similar blue light we saw that night in my hallway the last time we went we didn’t see much till the end when I and a few other people who showed up seen a tall dark figured man lurking in the corner of the old cemetery who seemed to be following my brother and my boyfriends brother the vibe I got from that dude was no less than evil when we got back too our house my tv was turning up on its own and my downstairs google was playing music this finally stopped after putting crosses up but if you don’t want this stuff following you home I wouldn’t recommend going

Our troop saw A Christmas Carol in December. The performance was wonderful! Our seats were on the floor around the middle, and we could see & hear the actors with no problems.

There was only one issue that arose for me. I'm not sure if it was their fog or if the theater was just that dusty, but you could easily see particles flowing in the light stream above our head. I have sinus issues, which were a bit aggravated during the performance. If it was dust, the theater needs to do a good spring cleaning. If its fog, they should maybe use less next time.

Very much enjoyed the wine tasting and the facilities. Located in the woods southeast of Huntsville. Very good wines, selections for sweet tastes to those who enjoy the dryer wines. Enjoyed the meat and cheese offerings, well priced. Looking forward to visiting Teysha Vineyard in the future.

The museum is located in the former Black elementary school and covers the history of Blacks in Huntsville prior to integration. General Sam Houston had a slave named Samuel Walker Houston. The university (SHSU) is named after the General and the Black schools (Elementary & High) were named after the slave. The museum itself is small but offers a glimpse into the lives of Blacks that lived in Huntsville primarily during the days of legal segregation. However, the displays and exhibits are all done in a positive manner. They highlight Black achievement and accomplishment during those times of challenge. If you are curious about the past, it is well worth the time and effort to visit the museum and cultural center.

Fantastic trails, plenty of mud, RV hook-up sites, cabins, showers, snacks, and much more. Owner is the greatest and just wants everyone to have a lot of fun. They do NOT furnish the ATV's... bring your own. Weekends only. Low-cost entertainment. Located off Interstate 45, north of Huntsville city limits off TX 75.

My daughter and I signed up for the PADI open water diver class and the experience far exceeded my expectations!! To start off, Jim greeted us by name when we walked in (never met us before), then showed us to our sleeping accommodations. Our instructors were Brtan Blauvet and Conrad - two of the nicest and most patient people I've ever met. They made us feel at home both in the water and out of it. Then we got to meet the owners of Texan Scuba - Phil and Sharla. They made dinner for our class and made sure none of us were hungry after a long day in the water. Every single person we met while we were there was very engaging and willing to answer our endless questions. When I started the book portion of the class, PADI kept talikg about how much of a social community diving is...well, Texan Scuba embodies that philosophy. We walked in as students and left feeling like we had gained another family. Thank you all soooo much! ❤
