Salento fits beautifully in its site among nice buildings, with a pretty garden (within which is a very nice owl sculpture) on one side and a spacious lawn on another side.
The stadium is great with a fantastic view of the expansive Houston downtown past the outfield.
Bayou Bend Collection and Gardens
#5 of 77 Sights & Landmarks in Houston
The gardens are incredible; a slice of Houston within site of downtown that has been left exactly as it was in the 20's when River Oaks was built, creating an exclusive enclave for the rich and famous.
Especially liked the Texas room with the incredible porch and view, and the beautiful spiral staircase out of the Philadelphia room.....which really could have been in Philadelphia!
