Part of the hike is in wooded areas and some in open spaces so you'll see lovely evergreens, flowers, hills, craggy overlooks of the ocean - it was breathtaking...so beautiful and peaceful.
The views of the cliffs, the rocks, the ocean, and the coast north and south of the peninsula are beautiful and well worth the hike, and at the end of the trail is one of the Park’s famous red Adirondack chairs.

Fascinating ecology with carnivorous plants, stunted larch trees, and unusual grassy plants that are actually reeds or maybe sedge.
In June the sun was shining, the flowers were blooming, the frogs were calling for mates, and we thoroughly enjoyed our visit!

We really enjoyed this great hike through the woods and up to an excellent viewpoint.
It is relatively easy hiking the footpath is even the climb gradual.
