My uncle and I went shopping today with a friend of ours. We all found something that we wanted. The service of the staff was excellent. We will definitely come back here again.

Part of our tour of Dallas, we stopped here for 30 minutes. The place was buzzing, albeit a little too crowded for my liking, however as it's ONLY open on a Saturday & Sunday, quite understandable.
Amazing stalls, a unique vibe inside and a fantastic opportunity to purchase unique souvenirs of your trip to Texas.
The downside was the expensive prices for a lot of items that put many off.
However, I'm glad we visited this one-off place.

This small gallery has high quality art for viewing and sale. The day I visited there were paintings from two different artists on display. Outside there is a walking path with sculptures that provides a pleasant walk back to a creek. I look forward to returning for another visit because the gallery rotates art about every six weeks. My time to visit the gallery and stroll the path was pleasant and under an hour.

When in the Lakewood area of Dallas, be sure to step into Curiosities...an eclectically cool shop just jam-packed full of temptations. It's sort of a blend of an indoor flea market combined with an antique vibe mixed with a nostalgic flavor stirred into a retro-cool wrapping that makes the visit well worth your while. I really enjoy my visits...I can easily explore 30 minutes up to an hour...there are so many neat items to examine. There's a little bit of everything...something for everyone.

Hopefully your curiosity is piqued...so get yourself to Curiosities.

    Happy shopping !!!

West Village fits right into Uptown. The shops are classy and unique. Good selection of restaraunts and a movie theater. Very walkable. It is also on the McKinney Ave Trolly line which is always fun to ride.

If you're looking for that "perfect" piece, you'll find it at Griffin Trading. The selection is outstanding, and the service level is simply outstanding. Feel free to ask about any piece, and you'll hear a magnificent story. In addition to the art, they have the coolest furniture and lots of interesting artifacts, signage and specialty pieces. Plus, if you're a designer you'll find great pieces for large spaces, i.e. hotels and corporate venues.

This antique mall is one I check out now and then and have found some nice items and art. There is quite a mix of items and quality, and many vendor booths; the staff is accommodating and friendly. One of the better antique malls in Dallas.

Dolly Python, between West Village and Old East Dallas is a collective of vintage and collectible dealers set in an old grocery store. It has vintage clothing, jewelry and boots/footwear. It has truly unique collectibles in all sizes (in case you're visiting with a suitcase), from handmade, outsider art, signs and books, some furniture, MidCentury modern, ephrmera like old "secret society" orders.
Small, easily viewed with a helpful and knowledgable staff. Parking on the street. Cards accepted. None of that "do not touch" malarkey, everything is for the picking.

While you're there, go across Haskell for a drink and meal at eBar!

This is a wonderful antique shop! Everything clean and nicely displayed.. and a wide variety of items.. gorgeous copper, beautiful pieces of furniture and glass ware. Don't expect to be picking and sorting through bins and boxes - not that kind of place!

You can get farm fresh veggies, eggs, chicken that comes from the farm. It is really such a great place. Like everyone has said, it's a large market and full of good things.
