- G9737IWbarbaracAustin, TX21 contributionsBeautiful park! Well kept, clean and pet friendly. Lovely place to spend a quiet morning or afternoon outside.Written April 19, 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - CoachJeffroArlington, TX418 contributionsGreat beer and friendly people! If you like craft beer, this should be a stop for you if you travel this way. They have so much more on tap than what they produce in cans and bottles. Although we didn’t try, they have started distilling spirits. Great outside patio too!Written May 10, 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- dgbg100106Odenton, MD1,725 contributionsWe stopped in for a tasting with some friends and had a wonderful experience. The staff was so friendly and helpful that it felt like a private experience for us!
The whiskey was great we ended up coming home with a gift set for the stryker and the super stryker is my favorite for sure.
I would come by more often if I lived closer.Written April 30, 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. This includes the setting of an Old West town that has numerous items on display in the related businesses: doctor, dentist, saloon, hotel, church, etc. Time well spent for a step back in time that provides an exceptional education in pioneer history.Written May 13, 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Wine_of_the_MomentGeorgetown, TX100 contributionsBlanco has many local, historic, and natural charms to this little town in the Hill Country. Now, it has something people will talk about more when they go to Blanco…a charming winery! Opened since this past April, owner Judith Raven is no stranger to the Texas grape and wine world. For almost 20 years, she has been experimenting with grape growing in the Hill Country near Spring Branch. The estate has about 6 acres of grape vines planted and is known for Sauvignon Blanc, Tempranillo, and Merlot. The logo on the bottles, a raven, is a nod to the owner’s last name. When we visited, there were six wines featured on their tasting menu. The 2018 Sauvignon Blanc is sourced from Sierra Foothills AVA until the Texas Sauvignon Blanc grapes are ready. It is quite crisp with some distinct peach notes. The 2017 Hill Country Tannat is quite smooth with ripe strawberry and jam flavors. The 2017 Texas High Plains Tempranillo features more spice with a smooth finish. You’ll be delighted and quite happy with the 2014 Petite Syrah/Sangiovese blend. Sourced from Reddy Vineyards, it is still drinking quite well. It is bold with nice tannic structure and is well balanced. The last Esperanza wine is a sweet Orange Muscat. Source from the Texas High Plains, it hits the spot when temperatures heat up during the last three months of the year! There is also a wine from Fly Gap that you can try called Cowboy Way. It is for those who enjoy something bold and strong in a red. We enjoyed visiting with Judith’s daughter and hearing how they came up with the name for the winery. The name Esperanza comes from Judith’s childhood and relates to many good things that came with that name on her life’s journey, starting with living on a street named such. Now, Blanco has more good things going for it with the addition of this winery in the area. Inside the tasting room one will find tables and assorted cozy areas to sit and sip and relax as they enjoy their visit. There are also tables and chairs outside to enjoy the lovely warm fall temperatures of late. There is new artwork on the walls for sale by local artists making the space even more inviting and interesting. All in all, the space makes you feel right at home. Stop by and check it out for yourself. You just might find some new wines you enjoy and make sure to keep checking in from time to time, because there are more wines planned to be released. Cheers!Written November 25, 2019This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.

- PavehawkConverse, TX92 contributionsI have been wanting to visit the distillery for awhile and things worked out so I finally could. The drive was beautiful. The tasting room, while small, seemed cozy. If the weather is nice, there is some seating outside. The staff were friendly and helpful. I tried the Premium tasting. Prices are reasonable for the quality of products. I ended up buying a bottle to bring home. Overall I had a nice time and plan on visiting again.Written November 5, 2019This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Gerard vSan Antonio, TX7 contributionsThe course is fun and requires thinking about almost every shot's placement. Tee boxes, fairways, and greens were in great shape. Why not 5 stars? I was surprised by the staff's unpleasant attitude. I identified myself as a first timer in the pro shop and disappointed with the casual attitude of the pro shop staff. I also found the starter to be, while not exactly rude, very casual about being helpful. Found it funny that I checked in at 12:20 for a 12:40 tee time. When I travel 3 hour round trip to the middle of nowhere and pay relatively high greens fees, I would expect a more pleasant reception. But the course was excellent.Written July 22, 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- SHARON PRound Rock, TX30 contributionsWe heard about this place on The Daytripper and decided to stop by on our way back home. There is a nice little store in the courthouse square. I was told that the lavender blooms in early June and you can pick your own lavender, but the blooms dry out by late July. The store sells bags of the lavender seeds, which I wanted to fill some crocheted sachets. I was told that the seeds retain their efficacy and smell for about a year. Past that time, you can put a little oil in your hand and rub the seeds to bring out the aroma. They also offer all kinds of lavender products (e.g., shampoo, conditioner, oil, hand soap, etc.). They have many other items. If you love lavender, go to this store.Written August 19, 2017This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - milesatxAustin, TX4 contributionsThis was a very unique little shop. Not sure else where you can go to get an experience like this. We had craft beer and wine while shopping chocolates, spices, olive oils, and a ton of other stuff.
