Stopping to soak in the beautiful views along Foothills Parkway and take in a few last deep breaths of the refreshing mountain air is our favorite way to leave our treasured visits to the Great Smoky Mountains.
Great scenic pull offs and Look Rock at the top is a great place to hike to (1/2 mile) up a paved trail to a tower with awesome views.

So fun to cross over with beautiful views of the river!!! Beautiful property on both ends and a lovely elderly couple lives on the far side!!! Rustic old barn and scenery to die for.

Make sure you turn left after bridge, hidden between houses , but enjoyed walking across, nice view of stream.
The bridge is not too high off the water ( just right ) you can see all the people enjoying tubing down the river, wild life and just a great view !
