Hadn't been to Ford park since it's renovation but it was amazing, kids love it as there are many variations for them to be amused on, adults had plenty of areas to sit, relax, enjoy the ocean air or have a BBQ.
love how they have fenced in the play ground makes if safe for kids and a big improvement on last time

Fantastic for families as it’s patrolled in the summer and is dog friendly.
Apart from being a naturally beautiful beach, I was really impressed with the easy access rubber path down onto the sand.

To see the ocean in all its splendour and more Whales breaching off into the distance was truly a magical afternoon, if you love the ocean, nature and history, well worth a visit.
It is called a scenic trail and one would expect it to hug the coast with views of the coastline and the ocean beyond.

... looking fella (forget what they're called), frog-mouthed owls, parrots of all kinds, kookaburras, two absolutely beautiful dingoes, ostriches, wallabies, gorgeous pythons, a cute little echidna waddling around.
Despite the very wet (much needed glorious rain) weather we spent all day here, riding the train, feeding the roos and emus, talking to Mary, bowing at Barry, watching Priscilla and Grace eat breakfast, as well as...
