- Lana PHouston, TX77 contributionsWe enjoyed the Smoky Mountain Christmas celebration. The shows and lights were amazing. We were there on a fairly crowded day and still got to do so many things. The key is to have a plan and eat early!! We only had to change our schedule once due to lines. Even with the time safer pass there was a wait. Only downfall was since it was end of season a lot of booths were closed and even one main restaurant. They were out of several food items. You have a audio device on your your tour and can take as long as you like on your walkthrough. Although I got discounted tickets online I think the ticket prices are too high, it's very popular so I understand why they charge what they do but Imo it should be more affordable. It's a long, continuous ride through a natural setting and as long as the person in front of you doesn't slow down, you can bomb the hill from start to finish. The facility is well maintained and there is ample parking so it's not chaotic, even in the busy season. They always seem to have deals on the various "Discount Coupon" sites and same day re-rides are half price so you can ride over and over without breaking the bank. A native of Pigeon Forge, not only is Karen knowledgeable on wine but she also offered up local recommendations for a solo traveler such as myself. Thanks to Karen, I adventure’s up to Cade’s Cove AND ate dinner dinner at Pottery Cafe (also highly recommend). - H..East Midlands, UK157 contributionsI have visited many water parks and this is a very good one. The attractions are very good and there is a good selection of food and drink on offer. The toilets are well maintained by the park but because people can’t use them respectfully they could do with more regular cleaning throughout the day. The lifeguards are not so great. They are very good as looking like they are watching, with very pronounced head movements but just blow a whistle for everything and when two children got into difficulties in the wave pool today they did not notice, my husband (an ex-lifeguard) rescued them with no reaction from the staff. The performers are very talented at singing and dancing, and the themes of faith family and freedom are there in the show! I heard someone near me say they weren't expecting a few Christian songs - well it is a good thing this show has them in it! These are the best smash burgers!! I highly recommend the B & B Burger!!
