- StephanGermany141 contributionsWe did not plan to go there - not in the travel guide - but have been even more positively surprised by the charm and atmosphere of that building, it's history and the small handcraft shops. The place has been an automobile factory im the early 1900s. It is stop no. 1 on the city bus tour. Although there are also those typical gift shops with all Asian manufactured tourist products, you can find some really nice handcrafted and creative works. Truly enjoyed learning about the family and many stories shared by the docent. Beautiful mature trees. Nice stop for those who enjoy history. Interior photos allowed without flash. Ample parking. The negatives were the route we took which couldn’t be helped. It was supposed to be a scenic leaf peeping trip. About 50% of the route was of streets and industrial areas. I went with a group and hadn’t investigated the reviews before we went thinking our leaders would have don’t that.
