Went for a lovely long walk on the beach today. It was surprisingly clean with not many people around, apart from a few dog walkers. The sun was out and it was nice day. Spent 3 hours just wandering, and that's after having found free parking near the marina. I'd recommend popping by if you enjoy a ramble, or the beauty of the beach.

Interesting beach, Rocky and shingle in places with a good stretch of sand. The bay is lovely and the water seems clean and clear. Some people were swimming. Access is by a very steep path with a rocky shingly latch before the sand,

Stumbled across this beach whilst walking the coast path. What a gem. Deserted apart from one other walking pair. Large Sandy areas (with quite a large seaweed band in fairness). Gorgeous views on a sunny October day and plenty to explore. Just beware of tides as cliffs are steep and one footpath has been eroded - just reduces options on exit to either end of the beach. Loved it and will return with the teenagers some time !

A nice beach within the town limits, excellent views to the far coast, somewhat sheltered, good to walk.

The campsite is a bit tricky to find but totally worth it when you're there. the Views are amazing and it's lovely to have access to the beach in the evening.
The guy's running the site are really friendly and helpful. Definitely a hidden gem :)

Spent the day exploring Llyn peninsular. Ended up seeking out Porth Iago on the northern coast of the peninsular

Got there and didnt like the fact the farmer charges you to cross his land (what!)

Instead we parked a bit further down the road on the verge, walked down the lane, turned right and cut across another farmers field (we asked him) and found Porth Ferin.

Ive been to some pretty stunning places around the globe but that stretch of coast from Porth Ferin west to Porth Iago is breath taking

    Highly recommend it

A little oasis in town. A real pleasure to wander through the reed beds on solid and even raised walkways. Spotted heron , oyster catchers and swans. Please don’t neglect it as a few pot holes appearing in the car park and some railing in need of repair. Otherwise it’s well worth a wander round
