- Lucy TIsle of Wight, UK1,492 contributionsI’d been wanting to go here for quite a while and my dream finally came true and it was everything I could have wished for! The views are spectacular and it was great to watch the steam train go past on the Swanage Railway line. This is a popular site with tourists, but it really was the perfect fairytale day out!Written September 8, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - pepper r2 contributionsOh my goodness where to start, the place, the staff were AMAZING, big shout out to Shane and Zena , thanks for your help :) this place cannot be faulted!! We had the BEST time on the mud run and was lucky enough to go back for the water park … the mud run - Lordy, NEVER seen so much mud in my life, my husband came out looking like a human sized turd!! In the nicest possible way lol!! Hilarious!! Oh my goodness our bellies hurt laughing all the way around it, the water park was just the BEST! Even got named the queen jumper lol , lifeguards had a laugh with us too, what an amazing place … after we finished the mud run we got back to the car to see a flat tire, the man in charge couldn’t be more helpful, we didn’t ask for help he just jumped up to our rescue, zoomed up on his quad and pumped us up in no time, thank you all, we will be back next year for more !!Written September 3, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - IanC9 contributionsA slightly hidden gem - a sort of collective of craftspersons and artists, all very friendly beside the heritage railway.Written July 27, 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- The_Concierge_8Trinidad and Tobago3,710 contributionsIt's just a simple room but it packs a lot of history into the small space. You can see some prehistoric and more modern artifacts and read about the sieges to the castle and how things have changed over the years.
Learn about the 1882 murder, clay extraction and quarrying , see an 18th century cauldron and an interior recreation of the nearby Bucknowle Roman Villa. Loved hearing the various Dorset dialects. That was unique.
Just walk through if you're in the town.Written April 26, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Good value for money though 👍Written August 18, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- Yorkterrier01York, UK2,606 contributionsAs part of a visit to Corfe Castle, I popped into here as I have an interest in church architecture.
The church is very bright inside (probably due to its white walls) and I found it a very peaceful place to visit.Written April 18, 2020This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. The maze, shaped like an apple, has answers to clues to find, and it certainly was fun finding our way around. It can take between 40 mins and 2 hours to complete. I will definitely be returning when I have more visitors to entertain. You can get a drink and snack after and they have picnic tables around if you want to take your own. Worth a visitWritten August 30, 2019This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- J EStevenage, United Kingdom23 contributionsLovely little shop, tucked away in West Street just past the model village. It is packed with gorgeous gifts and nik-naks. I had a fabulous time looking round and found several bits to purchase, all of which were good value for a small gift shop. The lady serving was really friendly. Definitely worth a visit.Written September 9, 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.

- sue hBirmingham, UK38 contributionsFollowing on from our journey on the steam train from Swanage to Corfe Castle. We couldn't find much information on line onle about the Castle but the little village was lovely.
The only negative i would say is there seems to be a through road going straight through the village, we went out of holiday season and the road was very busy then, it's a shame, i would not like to experience this trip out on very busy times of the year.
We didn't venture up to the castle though as we felt our old knees wouldn't hold out.Written July 13, 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
