The mill setting is lovely, the weaving demonstrations fascinating, on site food very good and the shop catering for all taste and pocket.
The shop is exceptional with a superb assortment of Wollen’s made on site to choose from.

Such a nice place!! Nice for a sunny day walk..but very uphill ... Picnic bench for scenic lunch and a chance to take in the view.
However, it is totally worth visiting this site for the amazing views of the valley and the Wicklow Mountains.

Great morning - we beat the crowds and it was fantastic - walk to the upper lake was nice and what awaited us was pure beauty with nice waterfall, ruins and awe- inspiring views --- monastery ruins were very cool...
Our Cosmos tour group only viewed the Lower Site, which includes the Round Tower, The Cathedral, Priest's House, St. Mary's House a forest of grave slabs, and the remarkable St. Kevin's Church (or Kitchen) with it...
