    Water White Rafting w/ USA Rafting
    If you are looking to water raft in North Caolina and Tennessee, this is the river to do it on. My family hit the Nolichucky Gorge for fun and exciting adventure and it didn't let us down. Take a trip and enjoy the scenic beauty and the exhilarating ride.

    Clean and friendly
    Best welcome center I have ever been to, along with I - 26 welcome center in Kingsport. Much friendlier than N.C. Welcome center across mountain going towards Mars Hill, N.C.

    Off the Beaten Path, LOVE IT!!
    Loved this area. We need more like this. We there there Sunday afternoon alit of open site. Great private buffer areas between sites.

    Fun little park on the Erwin Linear Trail
    One of our family's favorite local parks, it's named in honor of a former member of our church, Eugene Price. Great access to the Erwin Linear trail for biking or walking with the kids.

    2Day Whitewater Canoe Basics
    Took the 2 day beginner whitewater canoe class with Viki. She's an incredible paddler and instructor. I have a tripping background and this class was my introduction to whitewater. I have a greatly expanded knowledge of water safety, modern whitewater canoe design, and the specifics of how to paddle these incredible boats. Viki was a patient and generous instructor, gave great coaching even shooting video so I could see exactly what I was doing and know what to work on. Highly recommend this class, and Viki, to anyone wanting to learn whitewater canoeing.

    Make the drive to Erwin, TN and raft the Nolichucky with Wahoo's Adventures
    Nolichucky is a great river, with national forest on both sides and a genuine wilderness feel. Wahoo's has smaller rafts that are perfect for the 27 named class 2-4 rapids. Guide was great. Excellent trip even in near constant rain.

    Incredible adventure right in our own back yard. Highly recommend. Great facility and great people. Very accommodating and enthusiastic.

    Fascinating Behind-the-Scenes Work
    Stumbled upon this place while staying in Erwin. What a National treasure! Work being done here goes unnoticed but impacts trout fisheries across the nation. Self guided tour of the “raceways”, watched fish feeding, fed the fish and talked with one of the employees about the process. July through September is busy season fertilizing eggs so we were a little early but still enjoyed the visit. Very educational especially if you’re into Brook or Rainbow trout fishing.
