What travelers are saying
- Roger L2 contributionsJust got back from seeing Cinderella play! TOTALLY amazing performance by these folks! Seriously these folks are talented and work very hard. It was an amazing performance and some of them will definitely be famous someday.
Nice atmosphere and as always, great people in Tennessee. The singing is great and the actor's are great as well. FULLY ENJOYED the show. and would Definitely come again. Great job people and don't give up on yourself. Thank you for a very good night.Written June 18, 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC. - Vicki R1 contributionIf you like model trains this is the place for you! There's so much to see - something for all ages. The staff members are very knowledgeable and love to share their stories. If you are in the area, this is a must see.Written April 24, 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
- Debra W8 contributionsA little getaway close to town. Beautiful scenery and a shady trail around the lake. They also have some nature trails on the other side of the falls that give you a good hike along the creek. They have little stations for kids along the path to learn a little about the creatures who live there. The only thing that would make it better is if there was a sidewalk over the falls so cars don’t have to maneuver around people continuing around the lake. That can be a bit dangerous if there are a lot of people and traffic. Don’t forget the bread! The geese come up to you with their mouths open expecting something then walk away let down.Written June 19, 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
- Hector GLake Charles, LA60 contributionsIt was our last day in the area and we picked out several places to visit and found this gem on Trip Advisor. We were greeted by Mr. Jim Doland who became out tour guide of the Military Memorial Museum. He gave us detail history of the building, local military, and battles from the Civil War to present time. Thousands of artifacts that were donated by friends and family of military men and women. A blessing and honor to see this memorial museum.Written June 21, 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
- Nancy GCrossville, TN22 contributionsVery interesting and well laid out museum. We learned a lot about our town. Mrs. Roosevelt was an interesting woman.Written November 22, 2021This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
- Robert AOoltewah, TN264 contributionsWell organized, easy to scan without visual fatigue. Good variety and quality. Nothing particularly high-end.Written May 27, 2020This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
- Colin ArchibaldKingston, TN4,465 contributionsThe wines at this winery were very tasty and they have a variety of fruit wines. My wife loved their Peach wine. They topped off the tasting with Fudge made with wine in it...Yum. There is a candy and fudge shop attached, so our grandkids that were along on the trip came away happy too.Written January 16, 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
- barb1 contributionWe three couples were warmly welcomed by the friendly, knowledgeable staff., even while arriving with less than an hour before closing. They educated us on each wine, and made our experience so enjoyable. Between we six, every wine was tasted, and all were deemed delicious! We will be back when next in the area.Written May 12, 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
- LaDonna8 contributionsLove seeing a part of our history in different places. Crossville is just that. I will be going back when I have more time. Great place to site see as well.Written January 20, 2021This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
- W HCrossville, TN15 contributionsWe take our younger school kids to this in the Fall, and they just love it. This is not your "do not touch" museum venue -- it's outdoors, and there's lots of opportunity for running, hiding, jumping, crawling and yelliing!! Safe, too.Written January 16, 2019This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
- David WCrossville, TN575 contributionsThe Park is very relaxing for both adults and dogs. If you're traveling with your dog, this is a wonderful place to unleash your pet and to let them run, instead of just the motel grounds, leashed walking.Written December 21, 2019This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
- Bcdef GThe Cincinnati Region10 contributionsThis library is huge and extensive. You can find anything and the book store is available all year. Most books only $1.00. Library is entire two story building. Free parking. Definitely check it out while in town.Written April 10, 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
- David WCrossville, TN575 contributionsIf it's your first time visiting this area and you're traveling I-40, get off at Exit 320 northbound and follow the signs, down the road next to Stonehaus Winery (some local high school in this road). This info center is a great stop for information on area sites (particularly outdoor). The Ranger was also very helpful in answering questions about local museums, parks and other sites, particularly downtown...don't miss downtown.Written December 23, 2019This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
- David WCrossville, TN575 contributionsIf you are interested in old courthouses, this one that's well over a 100, is worth a tour. There are a few interesting displays inside, but the treat is to walk around the building and do a close inspection of the stonework. The shapes at the corners made me think castle parapets...I know...odd thought for a government building, but the design sure beats a plan square building. It has a clock tower, also part of the original building. The County Mayor's office had a lady who answered, very courteously, our questions about the building history, also.Written December 25, 2019This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
- David WCrossville, TN575 contributionsFreakish 60+ degree weather on Christmas Eve 🙂...After last minute shopping, it's a wonderful place to picnic...there are picnic tables scattered about + shelters for larger groups. Grab a to-go lunch and enjoy nature. Shade trees on a paved strolling and walking path with a lot of bio-diversidy. The creek is a very diverse area to get a glimpse of also. If anyone brings their pets, there is a very large fog park...K-9 Kane (?), Named to honor a police dog, killed while on-duty. It's next to the walking trail...if it's exercise and you use the whole trail, call it an easy to intermediate hike, but without the trail obstacles, like roots and rocks.Written December 25, 2019This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
