The view is amazing from the top!! So much history in the area as well. I had always seen the ‘See Rock City’ signs as a kid and finally got to go! We stayed 2 days and really needed a third. We missed Ruby Falls and the Incline Railway was closed due to a previous forest fire.

The Tennessee Aquarium is large but not overwhelming, and easy to visit: you go to the top of the "river" aquarium and walk all the way down through it past exhibits and onto the second "ocean" aquarium and do the same thing. I have been to a lot of aquariums and you see the same things at all of them: petting tanks for rays, penguins, a huge tank with sharks, glowing jellyfish etc. I'm interested in what's special or different. At the Tennessee Aquarium, I'd say it's the many different turtle species. The Madagascar lemurs and sturgeons were also highlights.

This aquarium does get jammed with school groups and families, which diminishes the experience, even though they limit ticket sales to reduce the crowds. I'd highly advise arriving when it opens at 9 am so you can see most of it before the groups and families arrive.

Excellent tour with Lileth! Did the Canyon Crawl with college aged daughter. Highly recommended if you can do a gym class. I think you need some body strength. So fun! Bring a change of clothes for afterwards.

Nice employees...Good family activity. I was a little disappointed they couldn't see Thomas the Train in the trainyard as pictures suggest.

What a pleasant walk for everyone, doggies included. Love that it is pedestrian only. You still encounter an errant dog owner who doesn't pick up after their pet. I noticed people have placed locks on the bridge and I hope Chattanooga doesn't let this get out of hand. Benches available if you just want to relax and catch the sights. I saw a rowing team practicing on the river. Runners and walkers of all ages.

Great exhibits and our one year old grandchild was happy for over two hours.

Complaints: outlets do not have child safety plugs, and one is right next to the red car for little kids. Lots of big kids running around in the five and under space, which I mentioned to a staff member who did nothing.

When you go to a distillery, you typically tolerate the tour while you wait for the tasting. Recognizing this, the Chattanooga Experimental Distillery tour includes a quick recitation of the history, explains the brewing process, shows the stills and barrels, and then it's on to the tasting room. There, you get six pours of the established whiskeys and two "experimental" bonus pours. All of them have different flavor profiles and bouquets and this all costs just $18/person.

When visiting Chattanooga make sure to stop here. They have an old time merry-go-round to ride. Outside is a dancing water park. You can also take a walk down the river. This place is also located right next to Frazier Street with quaint shops and a variety of restaurants.

This is my second visit to Coker Car Museum. It is one of the better museums I have been to! Corky Coker liked big powerful early touring cars, race cars, and trucks/busses. I really liked the series of Yellowstone busses. Also Coker built replicas of the Wasp that won the first Indianapolis 500! We spent a couple of hours perusing the collection. My favorite was a 1924 Marmon. Be sure to talk to Corky’s daughter. She is quite knowledgeable!

A small zoo but nice. We have been to a lot of zoos, this one had animals we have not seen. It was a cold day and some wind so I am surprised all the animals that was at.
Would have liked to seen more but understand it was cold. Next time we are in the area I would like to visit again.

Spent a Day in Chattanooga celebrating 28th wedding anniversary. A lot of cool shops down town and the B&B, Mayors Mansion Inn was very cool. Wonderful dinner at J Alexander's. Food was delicious and the wait staff was top tier. Highly recommend. Over great trip.

Gen X heaven! Walk through the earliest pinball machines to 2024! Try them all, especially compete with your friends in multi-player. There is a section in back with "vintage" arcade games, like Joust, which I played when I was a teen. The machines are cared for and restored so be gentle and enjoy the experience. We loved the 2024 Jaws pinball experience in multi player.

We stopped to waste some time before a restaurant reservation. Very cool place to see and you can walk down to the Tennessee river.

What a gem in Chattanooga! We continued to be intrigued by the thought behind the three-building progressive expansion, the considerations of varied art forms, art messages and formats and the works themselves. We will return to this treasure trove, as a destination in itself.

We enjoyed walking here. It is very picturesque and there are many different areas to walk. There are also some nice bridges to walk over.
