I am not a biker. I was on a cross country road trip and passed through Sturges. I crave unique experiences I can't find in my home town of Philadelphia PA. The motorcycle rally certainly fit the bill. The bikers and the vendors in Sturges were terrific and welcoming people. I loved strolling through the souvenir shops and the motorcycle museum on Main Street. I had fun chatting with the strippers at the bars in the outdoor beer gardens. The highlight was seeing Night Ranger and the Stone Temple Pilots Live at the Buffalo Chip campground during the evening concert. I highly recommend attending this event even if you aren't a biker yourself.

Small but interesting bikes and memorabilia to see. The staff was friendly and helpful. Don't miss seeing downstairs!

I got to visit this national cemetery the hard way. My brother who served in Vietnam was laid to rest here just before Thanksgiving. Thank you to the honor guard, staff and military that made this a very special day. Everyone was respectful, military centric, and empathetic.

I visited Sturgis a few weeks before the annual Motorcycle Rally. It was a very quiet small town and I enjoyed walking around the downtown area before making my way out to the Museum at Fort Meade. The museum is housed in one of the Old Fort’s Building and cost $5.00 for the self-guided tour. It took me a while to make it through the museum as I am a reader and the amount of information provided is outstanding. The exhibits are well displayed, and the staff is readily available to answer questions. On the drive out I did find the signs to be a little confusing. In order visit the Museum you must use the Medical Center Gate. After finishing my visit to the Museum one of the staff members provided me with a map of the ground and point out some of the more interesting buildings and their historical significance. I enjoy my visit to the Fort Meade Museum and would high recommend it if you find yourself in the Sturgis Area.

Do you want to go to great concerts for free or a little extra for some perks? During the rally this is the place! We went to Hinder and had an amazing night! First we had a burrito from Sweeto Burrito a food truck located in the parking lot during the rally. The All American is great! A Burger-fries and special sauce rolled up into a burrito! We had purchased Chrome passes which allowed us front row access with a bar at each end and porta pots designated for cabanas and chrome pass holders. The bartenders were fast, accurate and nice to look at.

We made a random stop here thanks to the fun merchandise that was outside! Such a kind and friendly experience!
Found exactly what I wanted (bison skull). Definitely worth the stop for a one of a kind souvenir that will support a small business!

Visited this Cemetery while stopping to see the Headquarters Museum at Fort Meade itself. Just off the main entrance onto a gravel road, continue until you see a sign on the left side.

Easy parking - Has a shed with a grave registration for your use if you want. Family's are buried here also, not open for burial anymore. We spent about an hour looking and seeing the gravestones in the different areas. There is one marker that indicates a "Medal of Honor" solder is buried there.

Very historical if you are interested.

We had a great time on both our tours. First we did the buffalo round up and the next day the Mount Rushmore tour. Care Bear was our tour guide on both tours and she did an excellent job. She is very knowledgeable and interesting on many subjects.

It’s nice that they are open year round! Had some of the Strawberry Saloonshine and loved it! Staff were great and told us the story of the original bar burning down 5 1/2 years ago. Large selection of shirts in the shop!

I started my day at the spa with a reservation scare. I had booked before I left on vacation, but when I arrived at the spa, I was greeted with the comment "your not here till next week!" followed by a rather unpleasant facial expression" My heart sank. I had been looking forward to this day for over a month.Thankful I had backup. I was left to sit in a chair, for feeling like I was a big hassle. After 10-15 plus minutes, She came back offered me water and a more comfortable place to wait. This was truly the only downfall of my day at the spa. Had the receptionist, the front of the house been a bit more professional I would rate with 5 stars. The spa team was able to pull together a full day schedule for me and the rest of the day was magic!
I had a facial, scalp and hair massage Jennifer Colhoff. She was amazing and I recommend her services.

If you can, make sure you book a massage with Mary Coffee! This lady is the best! I wish I could fly to SD once a month just to get a massage from her.

Let me also tell you about Dana Sweat! I received the best hair cut & style of my life! I AM NOT KIDDING. Friends and family still admire my new cut.

Thank you 5 star ladies for making my "day at the spa" one I will not soon forget!

Dont over expect and you'll love it. It's got a great vibe, not sure why. Its damp, crowded but in a weird way very fun. Can be a bit hard on the eyes.

We stopped here while touring Sturgis because it had outside seating and we had our dog with us. Out server was the owners daughter and she was great. She even brought a bowl of water out for our dog. My husband ordered the chicken blt and I had stuffed French toast. Our food was good, the prices were reasonable and we left happy
