What a surprise to see this beautiful park in the middle of the city. The natural beauty of the river cascading over the jasper quartzite is so awesome. The park is well landscaped, incorporating the native wildflowers into the manicured lawn. Nicely placed overlooks and bridges lead you around and across the river. You can even climb up the tower for a wide view. We were lucky enough to see a train cross and stop on the bridge over the river, right on the edge of the park. The history of the old mill was really an added feature, too. There are even some unique sculptures scattered around the grounds.

Nice walk along the river and then downtown to enjoy the scenery and sculptures. Although there are many restaurants along the path, we arrived after nine so many had already closed. It is an excellent free way to enjoy the art and get a little exercise after driving all day.

It was too late to go inside; but the outside is so beautiful! We saw it from Falls Park and sought to find it. We took pictures from the outside and drove around just enjoying the area.

This trail is in good shape and has many scenic areas throughout
Sioux Falls. We enjoyed the full circle around the city. There were bike repair stations at 2 locations.

The aquarium is very, very small - we are talking maybe 10 small tanks, including one where you can touch a seastar/starfish. The gift shop is bigger than the aquarium!
The butterfly house is spectacular, though, with plenty of large and small butterflies that come fairly close to you. Our toddler son really enjoyed it.
Note that they are very strict with what you can (not) bring in, so no strollers, hats, bags, jackets, etc. Lots of people hadn't read this and had to return to their cars to drop off stuff before they could enter.

Husband and I went to the musical Fiddler on the Roof at Washington Pavilion and loved it. This was our first time seeing the Auditorium and it is phenomenal. Had a seat way up in the balcony, what a beautiful view. We have always enjoyed the Imax movies here, and now we will be back for more stage performances. I remember this building as the old Washington High School, so to see it transformed into such a beautiful place is great. Betsy is the Guest Services Manager, and she does a fantastic job.

Visited with a 6,5,4 year-old and an infant on a Saturday. The weather was great and the crowds were big but not an issue. Staff were friendly and informative. Many animals were active. The train ride was ok but saw more fencing than animals! We are from Nebraska so nothing can really compete with the Henry Doorly Zooin Omaha. :)

Was looking forward to this memorial as my father-in- law served on this ship in WW11.
All the outsize displays were well maintained with signage that was easy to understand. We were slightly disappointed to find the museum part closed as it is only open from Memorial Day to Labor Day. Situated in a nice park, if you bring children next year I would suggest checking if the small museum is open.

The home is absolutely gorgeous. The woodwork throughout the house is amazing. If you enjoy homes of the past you will love this one. The tour guide was very educational.

Enjoyed walking through the halls of the old courthouse. I wish the courtroom had been set up, but I understand using it for fund raisers. I used my imagination. Lots of local history showing the downtown before and present. Well done. I recommend and would return.

Attended a PBR vent here and what a great arena not too huge, easy to get around, clear signage, lots of restrooms, concession choices, layout was good too no matter where you sit, very good job on safety measures during our two day event

We really enjoyed the water slides and wave pool. Long line at the bumper boats, tho. I thot it was rather expensive for 1/2 day.
